Halifax Zombie Apocalypse - Scavenger Hunt | Downtown
May 14, 2025 (UTC-3)ENDED
Halifax
Can you survive the Zombie Apocalypse?
Halifax Zombie Scavenger tests your ability to survive after a zombie apocalypse.
The game leads you through the city, where you will have 60 minutes to collect supplies to survive during this interactive scavenger game. With the whole world in chaos and zombies outnumbering the living 10 to 1, small colonies of the living are doing all they can to survive. Using your smartphone, your team will be tasked with scavenging the city for food, supplies, weapons, and shelter. The more things you find, the more points you get, the more likely you are to survive. Along the way, you will be asked to do a challenge or answer a trivia question in order to be rewarded with virtual weapons to ward off the zombies. The area is crawling with relentless zombies, and rival colonies are moving in. If you get too relaxed, rival colonies will take what you worked hard to find. The goal is to find all of the items in hopes that you will survive the zombie apocalypse.
Scavenger Rules:
In 1 hour your team of up to 10 people will use a smartphone to search the area for much-needed food, supplies, and shelter. The more things you find in the 1 hour, the more points you get and more likely you would be a survivor. The task will not be easy. Along the way, you will be asked to do some challenges or answer some trivia questions. The goal is to get at least 4000 points in 1 hour in order to survive the zombie apocalypse!
The Ticket price covers the participation of 1 team (up to 10 people). Add as many teams as you need.
Start your game at any time between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.

A mat, blanket and pillow will be provided but feel free to bring along your own for extra comfort.
This session will be facilitated by gong practitioner/sound healer, Martyn Cawthorne. To see a Gong Bath in action or to find out what you can expect from this session visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUYc6l884A0
'A gong bath is a timeless moment for you. It begins when you take a comfortable position (usually laying on a mat and pillow, and under a blanket) in the gong space and relax.
When the gongs are played you will likely find yourself drawn into the hypnotic sounds while layer upon layer of vibrations touch your body, mind and heart.
Following the waves of sound with a naturally arising, loving awareness, the mind tends to soften, releasing its grip and relinquishing its desire to control. As the boundaries of the mind dissolve, one may enter a flowing, timeless state in which the intuitive capacity can be awakened, and transformation can be a natural occurrence. Witnessing the unfolding of our self from within a womb-like sensation of love and security, we may even pass through cathartic experiences as our deepest self watches on, unblemished, beyond all experience.
When the last sounds have passed, and a few moments of silence have been allowed, you will be gently called back, at which time we’ll have a nice cup of jasmine tea to help with grounding before you head home.'

Shadow work is a form of introspective self-exploration and healing that involves recognizing, understanding and integrating the parts of ourselves we have suppressed, rejected, or denied - often referred to as the "shadow."
The term originates from the work of psychologist Carl Jung, who described the shadow as the unconscious aspects of the personality that we may view as undesirable or incompatible with our self-image.

“Attending the retreat in the Peak District was transformative; it offered a profound space to explore self-development safely, deeply connecting with myself, my emotions, and my psyche. Christian's guidance fostered a rare bond among us, challenging and empowering me to grow stronger and more compassionate. I wholeheartedly recommend this retreat to any man ready to embark on a journey of authentic self-improvement and connection.”
LUCA
“I've attended two weekend retreats run by Christian and would highly recommend to any other men looking to explore their inner selves and help define their healthiest form of masculinity. The spaces have felt safe and open allowing that depth of exploration to happen, including the necessary grounding/integration to take it back into the real world. Christian teaches us how to connect with ourselves and others on deeper levels and embrace ourselves wholly... what more can you ask for!”
