The RSA Summer Intensive looks to offer participants new tools and techniques for movement generation and improvisation, while the creation lab looks to support the exploration of each participant's own creative theory, choreography, and artistic direction. ABOUT RSA Radical System Art (RSA) was formed in February of 2014, in Vancouver, BC, Canada. RSA aims to create performance works that push innovation in both the physical and visual arts. Artistic Director Shay Kuebler is an artist whose foundation began in dramatic arts and traditional martial arts at the age of 4. Shay places a great emphasis on honouring and supporting his diverse background in the arts through continued study and training, which has included focused studies in martial arts, dance, theatre and music in Brazil, Japan, China and The USA. Radical System Art is based on the theory of finding the balance of the highly-trained and the technical with the raw and the instinctual. RSA aims to support this concept through an interdisciplinary and collaborative environment - blending dance, martial arts, theatre, music and new technologies into new contemporary forms. RSA aims to redevelop and innovate in each new project through a rigorous approach to research, training and creation. The goal of the company is to build challenging, innovative and unique projects that can push the art form, reach new audiences and build greater appreciation for the arts. www.radicalsystemart.com ABOUT ARTISTIC DIRECTOR SHAY KUEBLER Shay Kuebler started making choreography and imaginary fight sequences in his backyard at the age of 5. His foundation in the martial arts and dramatic arts fed his love for physical performance and expression, which would lead to a versatile background in dance. Versatility has remained a principle value for Shay as an artist and this has led him to travel across Brazil, Japan, China and The USA to train and study in dance, theatre and music. Professionally, Shay has worked in numerous fields of the performing arts, from film & theatre to contemporary ballet & aqua shows. His 17 years of experience as an independent choreographer, director and performer have blessed him with the opportunity to colloborate, learn from and work with an extremely diverse range of artists. With Radical System Art, Shay has produced 7 full-evening shows, touring these works nationally and internationally. On RSA productions, Shay collaborates with every aspect of the production from sound composition to creative direction, and the RSA Summer Intensive looks to offer particpants insight into all levels of a performance from training and movement generation in-studio to choreography and direction on-stage. www.shaykuebler.com Information Source: Radical System Art | eventbrite

Petunia & The Vipers are like Hank Williams on Acid, if Tom Waits meets Elvis at Woodie Guthrie's hobo junction. The music sounds like it's from an alt country scene from a David Lynch Nightclub. Joined by Janky Bungag! This Filipino-Canadian cowpunk draws inspiration from outlaw legends like Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash to bring you a high-energy cocktail of country and bluegrass. Molly Annelle is a singer, songwriter, and soul cowgirl from the west coast of Canada. Since the age of 5, Molly knew her home was on stage or behind the piano, penning songs and poems that would make grown-up dinner guests cry. Information Source: Green Auto | eventbrite

Creating art has always been my way of connecting to a world filled with beauty and chaos. I have been drawing and painting my entire life, using mediums such as watercolour, graphite, charcoal, and acrylic paint. As a tattoo artist, I've found fulfillment in helping others translate their ideas into wearable art. Throughout my budding career, I have had the privilege of hosting a workshop, exhibiting my artwork in galleries, and finding community in artist collectives. I believe art is magic. It has the potential to evolve perspectives, share knowledge, and grow connections. Information Source: Enabling Arts | eventbrite
