Ob verlassene Gebäude, leere Gänge oder urbane Landschaften – Thilo Hertwig schafft es, die Stille und Spannung dieser Zwischenzustände durch seine Fotografie spürbar zu machen. Die Ausstellung lädt dazu ein, die Zwischenräume zu erkunden, die wir im Alltag oft übersehen. Dabei stellt sie Fragen nach der Vergänglichkeit von Orten und den Grenzen zwischen Raum und Zeit. Was passiert, wenn wir uns in diesen Räumen verlieren? Wie beeinflussen sie unser Empfinden von Gegenwart?

If you&rsquo;ve already made it to Berlin, I highly recommend climbing the stairs to the top of the Berlin Cathedral for the panoramic view. However, it really depends on your luck&mdash;during my visit the dome was under major renovation, and most of the view was blocked.Be prepared: the staircase has many steps, and the walkway at the top is quite narrow. When it gets crowded, you can&rsquo;t stay up there for long. For the best experience, I suggest visiting after you&rsquo;ve explored most of Berlin&rsquo;s major sights&mdash;seeing the city you just walked through spread out beneath you makes the view even more rewarding.
