Welcome to the Multicultural Community Convocation!
This exciting event will be held at the 
First Institutional Baptist Church (12th Street and Jefferson)
. Please join us in celebrating the academic achievements of students, including Asian-Pacific Islanders, Hispanics, African-Americans, Foster Youth, and LGBTQ+ students from all of the Maricopa Community Colleges. Join us for a day filled with 
inclusivity, 
unity, 
and 
community
.
Come together with neighbors, friends, and new faces to 
celebrate
 and 
learn
 from one another. Let's build bridges and 
strengthen
 our bonds as a 
multicultural
 community. Hosted by Komputer Kids, Inc., a 501(c)3 organization that has provided STEM activities each summer to hundreds of Valley kids.
Registration & Tickets
: Only graduates need to register and indicate how many guests they will be bringing through Eventbrite. There is no need to print any confirmation or tickets from Eventbrite; it is only used to help us plan accordingly for the event. Printed tickets will not be needed to attend.
Parking
: Please park in the church parking lot, which is located to the West and South of the church. There is an overflow lot next to the church (Phoenix Fire Department lot), as well as street parking and nearby light rail access.
Graduate Check-in:
 Graduates are asked to arrive by 1- 1:45 p.m. to check in and line up for the processional.
Graduate Attire
: Please arrive wearing your commencement cap and gown and dress in business casual attire; a stole or cord will be provided to graduates.
Family and Friends
: Open Seating; please arrive early to find a seat!
Children
: Please have small children sit with family members; only graduates will be allowed in the staging area.

It was a really big park. I went from the southern end along the canal trail to the north end and stopped at the rocky cave, which took about an hour. It was a great place to relax, exercise and picnic. I loved the change between the green spaces around the lake and the arid areas filled with cactus. And was stunned by the bird life around. It is really hot so apply sunscreen and bring enough water.

The trees are beautiful and unusual. The cactus is very big and taller than many people. You must come and visit. It is beautiful and has a desert-style atmosphere.

Phoenix Zoo is located in Tempe Arizona and it is by far one of the best zoos I have been to. There are many attractions to the zoo like the wildlife. Phoenix Zoo has places like sea life walk where you can go see the sea life. The have a trail called Desert trail where you can see all the desert animals. they also have an area where you can see all the flowers in Arizona. they have a kid&#39;s land for just the kids they have a water park for the kids the animals that you see are mainly ones that you would see in a safari because it is a desert. Arizona You Don&#39;t See Much of like polar bears. it&#39;s a great little Zoo it&#39;s not too big not too little and I highly suggest if you&#39;re going to go to the Phoenix Zoo do not go in the summer I would plan to come in the winter where is more nice not so hot and you&#39;ll see a lot more animals than if you were to come in the summer it is 120&deg; here in Arizona during the summer and in the winter it gets up to about 70&deg; during the day so be a perfect time to come in the Winter.

You can see the sunrise and sunset of Phoenix here
I went there twice this year
I arrived at around 8am in March to see the blue sky and wild flowers
I arrived at around 5am in June to see many tourists waiting for the sunrise
This place is right next to the zoo and the Desert Botanical Garden
Free attractions
Travel route
Bring breakfast and watch the sunrise and have breakfast at the Cave in the Stone
Then go to the Desert Botanical Garden at around 8am to see all kinds of desert plants and animals
At noon, have a good meal at the restaurant in the botanical garden
If you like, go to the zoo in the afternoon (but I don&#39;t like it)
