If you really want a good view, the 488 observation deck is the place to go. There are large, thick pillars inside and a Ferris wheel outside. The Ferris wheel has curved windows that are constantly moving, so they&#39;ll always block your view. Going in around 5 PM allows you to experience both daytime and nighttime views. The Ferris wheel itself isn&#39;t that great; there are small queues during the day and long queues at night, and it&#39;s not like you have a private cabin. If you see those artists posing by the window, you&#39;ve basically just gone around at a high point.

This is a must do activity if you are in Guangzhou. The staffs know English and are very cordial. We liked the atmosphere up on the roof top but I think second floor viewing area is not bad as well if you are on a budget.

It&#39;s definitely worth a visit. As a Cantonese, I was surprised to have never heard of the King of Nanyue before, so I made sure to learn more. It&#39;s located in Yuexiu Park. The venue isn&#39;t large, but it has a wide variety of exhibits. When I went, the tomb passage wasn&#39;t open, so I could only see the structure from a distance.

Today, my whole family visited the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall. The guide was booked on the spur of the moment, but the experience was surprisingly wonderful! She was friendly and approachable throughout, and her explanations were incredibly detailed. From the &quot;three carvings, two sculptures, one casting, and one painting&quot; of the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, to the historical stories on the brick carvings and the auspicious meanings in the pottery sculptures, everything was explained vividly and easily. She even proactively pointed out the exquisite craftsmanship hidden in the details. She patiently answered the children&#39;s questions and shared many family stories behind the construction of the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall. Highly recommended! (^.^)
