A very cozy hotel with a warm, home-like atmosphere. The view from the window is just like a postcard — absolutely breathtaking. The location is great — only a 10-minute easy walk to the shuttle stop that takes you to the mountains. The hotel owner is incredibly friendly and kind. Upon arrival, he upgraded me to a more spacious and comfortable room at no extra charge. He also helped me plan the best route based on my available time and the weather conditions, and shared many interesting stories about the local history. The rooms are clean and well-equipped (hairdryer, air conditioning, toiletries). I had read in previous reviews about weak water pressure and unstable temperature, but everything worked perfectly for me. My room had a shower and a small bathtub. There’s also an option to order food to the hotel, but I chose to have dinner in different spots around town — there are plenty of cafes nearby, as well as pharmacies and supermarkets. At the end of my stay, the hotel owner arranged a transfer to the station for me, which cost five times less than a regular taxi ride. Even after I returned home, he reached out to check if I got back safely and if everything was alright. I’m very happy with the hotel and the quality of service. Thank you for the warm hospitality! Super location and very nice staff. We ordered an airport pickup to the hotel with the trip app and our driver contacted the hotel to let them know when we arrived so that a staff member could pick us up by the road. Super cozy streets around the hotel. My room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good, noodles and dumplings. On our second day we asked the staff to recommend a driver to take us to different hot spots and we got a very nice driver at an affordable price. Will definitely stay here again.

General feeling: Very good environment, there is a stream outside, and a stream is also introduced into the homestay. The Hui-style architecture is more quiet and elegant. Environment: See Figure 1, the view inside the homestay, it seems that there is also a water bar. The boss introduced it to me, but I wanted to go out by myself at that time. Hygiene: Clean and tidy, the bedding is of good quality, and the small sofa is very soft to sit on. See Figure 2 and Figure 3. I think this price is very cost-effective. Although there are many homestays at the foot of Tangkou Mountain. But there is no such landscape, and the bedding facilities are not up to par. The only problem is that you can hear the sound of the stream at night, which depends on the weather of the day and personal preference. Service: Thank you very much for the breakfast made by the auntie, who prepared it outside at more than six o'clock. Green pepper and dried bamboo shoots noodles, and an egg for me, are much better than the 25 yuan in the Tangkou store! If you have time, I suggest everyone to try it. The location is located in Tangkou Town, three kilometers away from the Huangshan South Gate Transfer Center. You can get a taxi at 7 o'clock in the morning. It is recommended to ask the boss in advance for earlier travel. If you are not in a hurry or have your own car, it is more suitable. There is a parking lot outside the B&B. Figures 4 and 5 are the scenery taken while walking about one kilometer outside the B&B. The scenery is surrounded by clouds and mist and is very beautiful.

This is a small family run hostel. It is very close to Huangshan North station. The owner offers free pick up and drop off to the station. Alex as the owner was very helpful during our stay at his place. He gave us suggestions on what we can do and helped us to book vehicle to go to Hongcun village and Huangshan mountain. We will definitely come back here again. Thank you very much for making our holiday perfect 😊

Pros: Very pleasant hotel, spacious, comfortable, good facilities, nice decor, helpful staff especially with instructions on how to get to Huangshan the following morning, breakfast offered. Cons: Glass wall and door to bathroom and shower would mean it’s best suited to people who know each other well!

I have stayed in this inn three or four times. I chose it without hesitation this time. The environment is very good and the location is also very good. It is very convenient to walk around the old street. It is also very quiet. I brought my children here this time and they were able to rest well at night. Because there are only me and my child, I booked the smallest room. The waterproofing of the bathroom is not good. The toilet and shower are together. It is not convenient to take a shower. The toilet bowl gets wet when taking a shower. Also, the latest check-out time for booking on Ctrip is 2 o'clock. Because I brought my child with me, I asked the owner and he said that the latest check-out time is 1 o'clock...

The hotel exceeded expectations. The hotel has a strong sense of interior design and can be photographed easily. The beauty of Huizhou architecture is fully displayed. The hotel service staff are very enthusiastic and the service is very good. The breakfast is delicious. There is also a chubby lobby manager in the hotel, meowing Dada, dear, cute. I hope that friends who come to this hotel will not bully it. The hotel is surrounded by Jilingshan Park, with winding paths. Every road will give you unexpected scenery. There is a warning sign at the entrance of the hotel not to pick poisonous mushrooms, and there is a small road next to it. It is not easy to be found. Going from that small road, it is very narrow at first, and then it can be passed. After walking dozens of steps, it suddenly becomes clear. A waterside pavilion appears in front of you. The scenery is beautiful. The hotel is not far from Tunxi Old Street and Liyang Old Street, and it takes more than ten minutes to walk. If you don’t want to go to the commercial street, there is also a vegetable market next to it, which also has delicious braised dishes. Not to mention the hotel room, the scenery is excellent. There are different beautiful scenery on sunny and rainy days. This hotel will always be collected by me. I will come again in the future.

We were not too sure what to expect from our first China trip so it was with much relief to receive such warm welcome and care when we reach our accomodation in Tunxi. Not only is our hotel a beautifully well-kept centuries-old heritage building, the service rendered by the staff was the highlight of our trip. They made special arrangements for us to have our breakfast (and it was a awesome breakfast too!) earlier as we were trying to reach Huangshan as early as possible. On our way back, we decided to stay one more night here as my friend was unwell. It felt like we were coming home, when we reached the hotel the second time. The staff even helped us to find a drugstore for us to buy some medicine to treat the stomach upset. My friend was really grateful for help rendered. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! The staff and especially the hotel manager 蒋丹书 went above my expectations! A lot of unexpected stuff happened just before coming to Huangshan and Jiang DanShu was not only comprehensive but also very helpful. I also had to replan my trip in Huangshan and he patiently answered to all of my questions (and there were a lot) even though I arrived late at night. Finally, I was a solo traveller without a car but he helped me to arrange inexpensive lifts to go to the places I wanted to go to and I am so grateful for that. As for the hotel, it was perfect: great location, my room was cozy, comfortable and clean. It was high tech and I found funny to see what temperature I was taking my shower at. I felt as if I was at home with friends. The staff will help to plan the hike to Huangshan according to physical health, preferences, etc. I was also given free maps, a free walking stick, a free raincoat and free lifts to the bus stations. Breakfast is available if needed for a small fee.

We had a perfect stay! Everything was perfect and well arranged. The service is amazing here. They will help you to get to the mountains (yellow mountains) by giving the right information and transfer to the foot of the mountains in the morning. We could even leave out luggage for 1 night to sleep at the top of the mountains. Besides the practical information, the service and breakfast/dinner is amazing! The food is so good and home made, you can really taste it. The owner of the honestay is very nice, she gave us a very lovely upgrade to a beautiful room, we loved it! Thanks for all!! And if we are able to, we would definitely return to the homestay.
