The service is very good (the front desk is very good and helped me recommend other hotels and provide transportation information after I checked out). But some questions still need to be raised: the bath water is either too hot or too cold. This is not a solar problem, but an equipment problem. Internet, although the entire island network is not good, there is no network signal in the room.

WiFi: Bring your own. Starlink is the way to go because here, WiFi is hit or miss; more miss than hit. Rooms are very clean, but no TV. Breakfast is good, but it’s the same every day - boring. So if you’re here for more than 2 days, prepare to have breakfast off-site. No elevators, be prepared to walk a few flights. Staff is attentive, but with no smiles. No need to set alarm, loud construction right next door began today at 7:15 am.

Lava House is a little oasis within Puerto Ayora. The room was very clean, with soap, shampoo and conditioner provided in the bathroom. Lava House provides a very relaxed environment, where I felt I could unwind after adventuring around during the day. The breakfast service was particularly impressive and offered so much variety! The perfect start for a day of diving. And Lava was so cute!

The boss is a clean and welcoming mother 👩, the hotel is in a good location, the taxi knows, the room is clean and comfortable, air-conditioned, there is a convenient guest tea bar, there is a beautiful courtyard.

The stay with Captain Max was great. The hotel is not too big, it is quiet, tasteful and originally furnished. The rooms are spacious. It is beautifully clean everywhere. Breakfast in the form of a buffet is absolutely sufficient. A pleasant bonus is free water for refil and free fruit during the day for the refreshment. Max himself is very good, cares about his guests. Price is not entirely the lowest, but on the island is generally accommodation very expensive.
