I stayed for 6 days, and it was my first time staying in an overseas hostel! Regarding amenities, nothing is provided, so you need to bring your own shampoo, body wash, etc. There are only showers. The cleanliness depends on the room you're in. My room was a bit messy because I was sharing it with someone who had been staying there for a long time. The hallway had boots and shoes from guests, but it wasn't inconvenient to walk through.
The communal kitchen and lobby were great for relaxing, which I really appreciated. There's also an exclusive guest area on the first floor where you can play games or eat. Since I was traveling solo this time, I didn't usually use it, but I found out about it when I had dinner with my roommate once. The reception staff were polite, energetic, and made for a pleasant experience.
It was also possible to store luggage after check-out; it was set up so you could put your bags in a luggage room yourself.

The hotel is great. The room has a private bathroom and is a quad room with bunk beds. It's very convenient to have charging outlets and individual lights. The hotel also has a well-equipped kitchen and a laundry room, as well as a large lounge area.
The reception staff are all incredibly friendly. They accommodate most requests, like towel rentals and exchanging bills for coins, and handle them quickly. Plus, with staff available 24/7, emails and other communications are checked promptly. The facilities were satisfactory, and there are many amenities nearby, so I highly recommend it for backpackers.
It's OK, check-in went smoothly, it's a cost-effective accommodation in the area. Remember to check in before 7:30 pm, otherwise there will be no staff at the service desk to check you in.

A nice hostel not too far from Perth city center. Good things I liked:
- Comfortable mattress, with a small curtain for a little privacy
- Staffs were nice and helpful
- common areas, kitchen, and showers/toilets were cleaned daily
- Plus point: Breakfast included (simple toasts with peanut butter/Jam/choc spread)
- Free coffee and tea (not the best quality but ok)
- near bus stop and grocery (Woolworths)
Not so good things:
- rooms are quite cramped
- no signage outside, bit confusing & hard to find for first timers
- Most of the furniture and kitchen facilities are quite old
- front porch & yard seems messy & unaesthetic
- Price-to-quality ratio: ok
The free breakfast, nice & helpful staff, kitchen space and social areas make this hostel recommendable. However, needs for hostel signage & revamping of all spaces & furnitures would make it a highly recommended hostel.
Great location at the heart of Albany, I drove so everywhere accessible, next door is a French patisserie, beautiful food and place.
Good public parking, limited private parking (so dense I must give praise to those who parked).
Despite the older infrastructure, it is well maintained and clean. I like how they ask for feedback.
Good free pancake breakfast, coffee and first 2 slices free.
Receptionist is live in, made it an easy check in at my late arrival.

It's in the heart of the city, so it's very accessible. The bathroom is clean and overall it's quiet. The kitchen is in the basement, so you can't hear much noise. Sometimes you can only hear noise from the street at night. I recommend staying here for a trip, but it's a little expensive.

That was great and cleaner than I expected . Pretty much everything in the room, except kitchen. This hostel isn’t typical party hostel.
I reckon everyone would stay there without stress. I’d love to stay here again if I’ve got chance.
It's about a 15-minute walk from the airport and a 10-minute walk from Chinatown, so I think the location is very good.
The staff are all very friendly and will help you if you have any questions.
The shared spaces are cleaned every day, so you can use them without any problems.
The room isn't very large, but it was fine for sleeping. From what I heard from the people around me, the comfort of the room seemed to depend on the people staying there. My room was a mixed 6-person room, and there were a lot of men, but most people kept their luggage compact and placed things in the lockers or around the bed, and it was comfortable because most people were quiet.
It's generally noisy outside until 11pm.

Great place to stay. The rooms were clean, the team were friendly and helpful. Close to airport and campervan hire 😊
AAleksei KleimenovTerrible service! This is the first hotel/motel I've ever been to that didn't accommodate its customers. Australia never ceases to amaze me, in the worst sense of the word. The situation was this. We were planning to drive from Norseman to Lucky Bay (near Esperance) to see kangaroos and swim in the ocean, and then check into the hotel at around 8 p.m. But the motel confronted me with a fait accompli: check-in is strictly from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m.!!! Not an hour later! Otherwise, they won't give you the keys, and you'll be sleeping on the street. I physically didn't have time to drive such a long distance, stop at Lucky Bay, and check into the motel before 6 a.m., which I've repeatedly written in private messages about. No response! The answer was the same: if I don't make it, they won't give me the keys. I called the management and asked them to accommodate me, leave the keys in the box, explaining that I was a tourist, my first time in Australia, and would probably never come back, that I wouldn't have time to see the kangaroos at Lucky Bay. The motel management turned a deaf ear to my requests. Unfortunately, it was impossible to book another hotel. These people at the hotel are completely incompetent! Where has anyone ever seen a motel that only allows occupancy for such a short period of time?! I hope trip.com support takes appropriate action.
The SureStay Hotel at Albany suited our needs perfectly. We only booked a couple of days before our arrival as Albany was a last-minute addition to our WA trip waiting to see what the weather was like before venturing out of Perth. The only thing was the tv was too big for the split-level bench it sat on and it sloped from one level to the other. Praise God for the Gideons Bible as the Word of God proved an excellent leveller for the crooked TV. The hotel was in a great position, close to the centre of town and the surrounding attractions. Thank you Best Western
Very excited about this speciality stay as it was stated the old prison facilities and had to try this experience. Was hesitant to share room with others so we took the entire unit by ourselves. The facade and surrounding like common area is nice and feels warmth. The single unit is using the cell units while the unit that we took is a newly erected wing so it's not the prison wing thus don't feel like prison but otherwise the outside and everything gives the prison vibes. Definitely recommended and must give this place a try at least once!
Very nice hostel top location Hostel G Perth garners praise for its prime location, offering easy access to public transportation and the city center, which many guests find convenient. While the hostel's rooms are celebrated for their modern touches and practical amenities like individual power sockets and storage space, some guests have cited issues with noise, cleanliness, and room layouts. Opinions on value are mixed; some guests feel the pricing is fair, while others disagree. The service is generally regarded as helpful, yet there are occasional reports of variability.
