I booked a single room at the Venice Guest House for my trip to Hong Kong. To be honest, at first glance at the price, I was a bit apprehensive, fearing the room might be too small or the environment not great. But after checking in, it was truly much better than I expected! First, I have to praise the front desk staff – incredibly warm and friendly! Knowing it was my first time visiting Hong Kong, they not only quickly processed my check-in but also patiently introduced me to local delicacies and tourist attractions nearby. They even told me the most convenient way to take the MTR and advised me on places that are lively to visit at night. It really warmed my heart 🥰 As for the room, I booked a single room, and in a place like Hong Kong where every inch is precious, the space wasn't huge, but the layout was very reasonable, and it was kept extremely clean and tidy. The bed was just the right firmness, and I slept very comfortably. Basic amenities like air conditioning, hot water, and Wi-Fi were all well-equipped, and the hot water came out quickly, making showers very refreshing. The overall environment was better than what I imagined from the pictures online, and I felt very secure staying there. The location is also very convenient, with a vibrant local atmosphere around. Downstairs, there are convenience stores and local tea restaurants, and right outside the building is an MTR station! This is super friendly for tourists like me who mainly rely on public transportation. Overall, this guesthouse excels in cleanliness, convenience, and excellent service, offering great value for money. If I visit Hong Kong again, I would definitely consider staying here and would recommend it to friends on a budget who still want a comfortable stay!

On the ground floor, there were quite a few foreigners, seemingly all exchanging currency. The hotel is located in Block B, so you need to walk further inside and take the elevator. It's quite close to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station Exit N5. Right outside the building, there's an international mall, which is convenient for shopping. However, the fan inside was quite noisy, and the air conditioning wasn't really on. The overall hygiene of the building seemed just okay. The front desk staff were very nice and showed me how to use the key card access. A thoughtful touch was that they provided an adapter, as mainland Chinese and Hong Kong sockets are different.

Although the hotel is small, it has everything you need. The only thing missing is a washer-dryer. There's a 24-hour laundromat up the street. Everyone who comes here absolutely *must* try the beef offal at the nearby corner shop – it's genuinely delicious, only 40 HKD for a small bowl. The owner is also very nice. The lady at the front desk on the 1st floor speaks Mandarin. She can switch seamlessly between Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, which is really impressive. I didn't use the hotel's bedding; I'm not particularly fussy about comfort or quality, as long as I can sleep, I'm good. If you're taking the elevator, 'G' doesn't stand for the basement, it stands for the ground floor lobby. Every time I went downstairs, I kept pressing 1, but it wouldn't budge. Also, what Xiaohongshu says about walking on the right isn't entirely accurate; there are many rules that depend on the situation. When getting on any bus, big or small, you tap your card *first*, not when you get off. However, pressing the bell to get off is indeed correct. Xiaohongshu really misled me; it's a rip-off. My main mode of transportation these past few days has been the bus. I had plenty of time, so I chose this option, but it still ended up costing a lot. At first, I was like, 'What's this 20 bucks? What's this 30 bucks? No way, I'm not buying it.' Now, it's '120 is fine, 130 is fine.' I just feel like I don't earn enough money. When bringing things back, always check in advance if they're allowed through customs. Hong Kong has everything, but prices are double those on the mainland. It's not just for us; it's the same for ordinary residents too. If you find dining out expensive, you can follow local Hong Kong residents and buy two or three takeaway meals – meaning two or three dishes. The packed meals are quite good. When I returned, I had successfully brought back the habit of walking on the left side of the road from over there. I feel like I'm becoming more polite. 😂

The location is perfect. After entering the building, you need to take the elevator (on the left) to the reception on the 16th floor, which operates 24/7. They took a 100 HKD deposit. The room is very small. There are both European and American power outlets, a fan, and air conditioning. The room smelled of smoke, and at 170 cm tall, I barely fit in the bed, having to bend my legs while sleeping. The duvet cover smelled like a sour rag, and condensation constantly dripped from the air conditioner unit outside the window, making a very audible 'drip-drip-drip' sound in the room. There were also some small flies constantly in the room.

The place is very very very small but the owner is very nice. They let u put luggage before check in and after chrck out. The elevator is a bit weird like not all goes to the floor. But they give u towel and u can even borrow charger

Located in the bustling Tsim Sha Tsui area, this hotel offers a quiet escape. We were a party of three and booked a quad room, which was quite spacious and clean. The reception area is small but very cozy, equipped with tea bags, coffee, and hot and cold water. Downstairs, dining and getting around are incredibly convenient, with two subway entrances right outside. Across the street, about 100 meters ahead, there's a Haiphong Road wet market where you can find authentic local wonton noodles, pork chop rice, and fish balls, all very good. Especially recommended is Chung Kee, run by two elderly ladies – their beef brisket and fish balls are generously portioned, and the shrimp in their wontons are large and fresh. The hotel also has Vietnamese and Thai restaurants downstairs, all at fair prices. There's a mosque opposite and Kowloon Park nearby, perfect for a stroll.

Normally, check-in is at 7 PM, and check-out is at 9 AM! Hot water isn't turned on until 8 PM, then it's turned off in the middle of the night. Then it's back on at 8 AM. Very inconvenient. They also charge extra for cleaning and taxes upon check-in, saying it's a price error on Ctrip. And they charge another 30 yuan for luggage storage after check-out. Ugh!

Relatively easy to get to, with easy communication with the Guesthouse owners. The location is great- right in front of the Kowloon mosque which was great for us, indicating availability of halal food nearby. Within walking distance of the mtr, tourist attractions and shops (7e is right below). We took the Cityliner from the airport and got dropped off at the nearest stop which was great! Room was super tight, with small bathroom with a shower head right above the toilet. The toilet doors required some manoeuvring because it could close but was somewhat disconnected from each sliding panel (with evidence of some bugs stuck between the panels, I can understand, in rather hard to reach places).Otherwise, clean enough room and very quiet. Enough space under the beds to store luggage but otherwise, just enough space around the room for a single person to walk about, so we had to take turns and mostly sat on our beds. For very short stays, seems like a good place.

Excellent stay! The location is super convenient, with a subway station right nearby. The owner was really friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze. Plus, there are plenty of attractions within walking distance. Highly recommend!
