Such a nice place to stay! Location is ideal, only a short walk to the station, nice area of the town and the views of Fuji are incredible. Accommodation itself is amazing, so clean and well kept, toiletries included even with facial cleanser and moisturiser. The only down side (more annoyance) is as a women staying in the mixed dorm I didn’t have access to the women only area where the women’s only lounge is as well as the fridge and laundry, reception would always be happy to let me in but I didn’t want to constantly be asking and there wasn’t always someone there so I would recommend choosing women only or male only rooms instead of mixed. Other than that it was a lovely stay and I would highly recommend.
I was nervous about the entrance after reading the reviews, but I understood right away.
I wondered if the stairs leading up to the front desk were the right way to go, but once inside, a friendly staff member greeted me.
This time, I stayed in a private room, so I didn't have to worry about the stairs below me or the noise from the floor above.
However, there is a fire station nearby, so I was woken up several times in the middle of the night by ambulances lol
You can rent clean bath towels, and the bathroom was equipped with a quick wiper, so it was comfortable to use.
It was clean and comfortable to stay.
It would have been even better if we could buy drinks.
I recommend this place♪
It's a 2-minute walk from Shin-Fuji Station on the Shinkansen. The location is great. When booking, it said it was a dormitory room, but it's actually a capsule. It's a bit difficult to get in because I'm 1.85cm tall. I have to climb out. It's barely enough for one night, but it's pretty quiet.
The facilities are poor. The quilt is too thick and the pillows are too high to use. The service is not bad. The room was very poorly soundproofed. Poor comfort. Will not come back to this small hotel again.
Is Toda Port a place that has nothing to do with people who do not fish at an old fishing port? There are only old Showa retro shops that do not know if the shops around are vacant or not.
There is a fashionable cafe, Tagore, which has been renovated from an old folk house in such a place.
When I enter the store, there is a foreigner, and it is like a foreign country somewhere. Check-in is a modern method of reading QR code on your smartphone and entering customer information.
The room is just a renovation of an old folk house, the furniture is antique, the floor is boarded, and when you walk, you can hear a giggling sound. It is irresistible for those who like retro.
The view from the room shows you a 々 view in the morning, noon, and evening. So even if you look at the view from the room as Bo, you can kill time.
The staff were also very friendly 々 and it was the best family trip. It is an inn that I want to stay again.

Great
SShih Yuin ChewTo my regret, should have booked ALL my nights in Shizuoka with this place. Because of some of the negative reviews online, I was sceptical and worried thus didn’t wanna put all eggs in one basket. But the worry was totally unnecessary.
Given the price, a fair comparison should be a dormitory styled hostel, and this place far exceeds any of the capsule hotels/dorm hostels I’ve been to (I’ve booked around 50 in Japan by now).
First, it has its own room and bed, privacy +1.
Second, it has its own large locker in the room (not as large as the largest suitcase, but more than enough to keep valuables and clothes), convenience +1.
Third, COMFY bed with incredibly thick foam support and super-single kinda width, sleep quality +1.
Fourth, the shower room area is ultra spacious and brightly illuminated, with close to 10 counters (and chairs), you can take your time taking care of your hygiene and facial breakouts at your own pace.
Fifth, it has a partner cafe (hug coffee) two doors next to it and the breakfast and/or drink coupons it offers could save you quite some money compared to walk in yourself.
The list could go on when you compare it to other hostels in the town (instead of hotels in another price range)
Given, the door of the room cannot be locked, and there could be a chance of hearing noise from other rooms, but these are common issues across all hostel settings, and it’s more of the travellers issue than the place.
So overall, I must say this is a place of very high value. I’ll almost always stay in this place if I’m to pass by Shizuoka again in the future.
GGuest UserI was very satisfied with the contents of the dinner and breakfast during my stay!
Dinner was one day before the full moon🌕, so the moon visible over the sea of Atami was incredibly beautiful♪In the morning, the sunrise was clearly visible from the balcony of my room and was truly magical!
I was also very satisfied with the hot springs♨️, as I was able to bathe in them multiple times♪

HHandyliIt's near the lake and has a good location. However, the traffic outside on the roadside is very loud at night. I don't understand why there are people running in the corridor for a long time between 7 and 8 o'clock, making a lot of noise, which is very disturbing.
SSIU YUIt is time for a renovation. The staff was very welcoming and courteous, but the lighting in the hotel room was a bit inadequate, but very close to the station
