I got upgraded to another room so I was thankful for that !
The room smelled a bit (moldish) even though the guests already there had opened the window but by night, it got better.
Otherwise, the room was big and had a heater which was really convenient.
I was happy to see a sink in the room but it wasn't usable unfortunately. I thought it would have been nice!
The kitchen is well equipped, there are books available in the dining room!
Emplacement is very good, close to the train station and a few activities.
The boss is not good, he introduces the surrounding environment, there are supermarkets, barbecue shops, bars nearby, you can shop for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and have a laundry dryer. We can't speak English, the boss specially called the Chinese guy in the store to translate, which is great.
The hotel location is very good, the service is good, there are features, it is raining that day, the weather is cold, the heating is turned on in advance, as soon as you enter the room, the room is warm, and the room has a kitchenette.
The hotel has a good location, convenient parking, great surroundings, large kitchen and dining room areas, very comfortable to use, and good bathroom facilities. It is very comfortable to live in. It is a good hotel worth recommending.

The law-abiding backpacker hotel, we stayed for two days, the two-person room did not have a separate bathroom, but was assigned to a house, just no other guests, we will have that one. The saloon can also ~ the kitchen also provides basic pots and pans, etc. ~ Advantages, there is a complimentary breakfast, and there is a hot soup in the evening, although they are all the same thing! And parking is convenient! Disadvantages, I don't know if we are on the side or not, I can't even get wifi, I just ran to the saloon, and there was a bit of noise when it rained, because the roof of the corridor is iron, but the room is not, barely Not too noisy.
Stayed here for one night on the way back to Christchurch. The owner was very welcoming, parking was convenient, the central kitchen was very good, and there was a washbasin in the room. It was just that Greymouth was a bit lonely and not very popular.

GGuest UserAmazing location, and amazing stay.
Pool table, sauna, plenty of cooking and communal space.
Easy check in and check out.
Plenty of parking available on site.
Plenty of beautiful walks nearby- see picture for example.
YYunfengParking is very convenient, the room is standard, the back door can be opened, there is a small green area outside, facing the snow-capped mountains directly, and unexpectedly saw the scenery of the sunset over the Golden Mountain. The lady at the front desk can speak Chinese, which is awesome. The hiking guide she introduced is concise and effective and is of great help to us.
Jjianwei tanClean and spacious apartment. Interesting the kitchen is together with sleeping area. Food smell actually hard to ventilate out. Kitchen amenities slightly worn out but still can be used.
Our poor luck as the clothes dryer in the laundry room is faulty. We dropped coins for twice and still damp, so no choice we packed up in car and travel on.
Own car pouch Infront of apartment. Contactless arrangement for check in. Love the quick response from host. This is certainly the best Accom to stay in if you drop by for Fox Glacier Hike.

HHUACHIHWe came here to stay by train. Although the motel is not very new, it has everything. There are supermarkets and daily necessities stores at the foot of the mountain. It takes about ten minutes to walk there. When the sidewalk is about to disappear, there is a trail connecting it in a hidden place, and you can walk to the parking lot of the grocery store.
The hotel can pick you up at the train station, which is actually very suitable for people like us who have big luggage from overseas and don’t have a car. recommend
GGuest UserThe hotel in Haast captured the essence of rugged beauty and tranquility. Surrounded by dramatic landscapes and pristine wilderness, it provided a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cozy rooms and comfortable amenities offered a welcome respite after a day of exploring. The knowledgeable staff provided valuable insights into the local area, enhancing the overall experience. the hotel was a hidden gem in the remote and untouched Haast region.
AAnonymous UserIn the small town of Franz Josef, the price is very good.
New Zealand hotel prices are generally higher after the epidemic, but this one is really cheap in the town.
It was assigned to the rainforest room, and there was forest outside the window.
11890139****The hotel facilities are average, but they have everything you need. The location is very good, on the main street, very close to the meeting point for glacier hiking, and only 5 minutes walk from the trail where you can see fireflies. The boss is very nice, answering all questions and introducing us to many surrounding attractions. I forgot to mention that the boss is Chinese, and I felt very close to him because he could communicate in Chinese.
TTomtanchThe hotel seems new and all the rooms were very clean. There was also a nice little kitchen and a spa bath tub, which we did not find the time to use. Special mention to the kind lady at the reception who was very helpful and informative. Thanks!
We drove to visit the Fox Glacier Walk and the Lake Matheson Trail, which was about half an hour drive away. There were supermarkets nearby in case one planned to cook or dine in at the restaurants.
JJIEAfter the check-in, the boss personally knocked on the door and asked me that your child also needs to pay the same amount as the adult. So I gave him another 25 New Zealand dollars based on the room rate. And added that the hotel profile says that children are allowed to stay and my child is only 5 year old! I don't understand such charges! I have been to many countries and this is the first time I have met! Let me talk about the speed! Basically, there is no net around 7:00 in the evening! The landlord said that I might have it later.
