The room was clean and spacious. The 1.35-meter bed was perfect for families with children. Since it was the Mid-Autumn Festival, the front desk even gave us Mid-Autumn gifts! Hotel guests can enjoy the hot springs for free. Children between 1.2m and 1.5m were charged an additional 30 and 60 for the bath, respectively. The kids had a blast! The hot springs were very relaxing, and breakfast was rich and delicious. The accommodation was clean and hygienic, with a huge laundry room. Plus, Zibo BBQ is amazing! This hotel was definitely the highlight of our trip!

Bearing the Crowne Plaza name, it once must have been glorious. My first stay here was a huge disappointment. The beach near the hotel is truly mediocre. The outdoor family pool is out of service, the Ferris wheel isn't operating, and the surrounding environment is completely different from what I saw in the online videos – a classic case of expectation vs. reality. Breakfast is served one floor below the lobby, and there's no direct elevator access, which is inconvenient for older guests. I had to ask a staff member who led us through a long, disused section of the restaurant, opened a door, took us to an elevator in Zone A to the second-floor lobby, and then we had to walk back to Zone B to catch another elevator. The breakfast selection was extensive, but the taste wasn't up to 4-star standards. The staff were all very nice, but the management is nowhere near 5-star hotel quality. I understand that with lower prices, there are more guests, and they need to cut costs. I definitely won't be returning for a second visit.

This was my second stay here, and the hotel service was excellent. Miss Lin Feng at the front desk was incredibly responsive to all my requests, and even reminded me when I left something in my room. The breakfast selection was extensive. This time, I stayed in Building 5, which is right next to the unpowered playground and soccer field, and my little one had a fantastic time playing there.

Nice hotel with a grandeur entrance. The staff was amazingly helpfull.
As the building is old the upper floors shower took 15 min to get hot water, what is really a waste, but after that it was good.
The hotsprings just beside the hotel are quite old, and the “maintenance” concept doesn’t seam to exist. Whatever still works… works the rest don’t. Still we had a good time, but be aware it might be a deception if you are not at ease with half the things not working

Guest UserThe moment I step in the hotel, can smell the herbal scent which is very soothing. Room is big and comfortable. Upgraded to family room with a sauna which was great. Love the herbal hot spring, very relaxing. The service was very good, especially 小懂, he was very helpful and always patient and polite. I would say of all my stays in this trip, this has the best service. Beddings and pillow were clean and fluffy like 5 stars hotel.
On the side note, location of the hotel is abit out of way, have to walk a while to get to eateries. But there’s always food delivery so it’s ok. And there’s a convenience store at the lobby. Design and layout of room can be abit better, the window between the hot spring area and beds were too bright for a good sleep so it will be good to put up a curtain or blind there.

The room is nice, the environment and service are good. The hot spring is terrible, it feels like it will be closed at any time. There are only a few small pools indoors, and two bathtub-sized pools outdoors. There is no swimming pool, and no area for children to play in the water. It really feels like it will be closed at any time. There is basically no one in the rest area on the second floor, and the gym has two treadmills, a bicycle, and a back stretching machine... nothing else. The breakfast is average, there is no local noodles, the fried dough sticks taste wrong, and there is no ice cubes on hot days. If you want to play nearby, it is recommended to stay here, but if you want to play in the water, it is recommended to go to other places, anyway, the place is not big, it can be driven for ten minutes. You can also search for reviews nearby, there is a barbecue street to eat.

The resort offers a stunning view and beautiful natural surroundings. However, there were a few challenges, especially for international travelers. Pre-arrival information was limited, and important details like the need to register vehicles in advance to enter the scenic area were not clearly stated on the website. I only learned about this by messaging the hotel via WeChat, which may not be accessible to all foreign guests.
While the location was excellent, room maintenance could be improved for the price. The pool tub was not well maintained. As the resort is set in nature, it’s also worth noting that insects may be present in the room or bed.
Overall, a scenic stay, but more proactive communication and better upkeep would enhance the experience, particularly for foreign visitors.

Guest UserI booked a 270-degree room, and upon arrival, they thoughtfully upgraded me to a special sea view king room, which significantly enhanced my sea-watching experience. The room was also several floors higher than what I originally booked, offering an excellent view! The cleaning lady was very warm and diligent; the room was spotless when I checked in. Although I didn't request cleaning during my stay, she'd ask every day if I needed anything cleaned and always replenished bottled water, tissues, and other consumables daily. The hotel's location is superb, making it easy to catch a taxi, bus, or subway. The beach is right across the street, and it's just a two-minute walk to the Third Bathing Beach. A ten-minute stroll along the coastal boardwalk leads to May Fourth Square, and you can easily walk to Badaguan and Taipingjiao Park. The Olympic Sailing Center, Lover's Dam, Yanner Island, Wheat Island, and Signal Hill are all within a few kilometers. Qingdao feels like a big park where you can relax just by walking a few steps, even if you don't visit the famous tourist spots; simply strolling around the neighborhood every day is delightful. Just be careful when crossing the street at crosswalks, as cars can drive quite fast at many intersections without traffic lights. There's so much delicious food, and the prices are fair; generally, any restaurant of a decent size is likely to serve good quality.

Nicy
Despite the great location, the hotel has not been maintained and many things are looking a bit worse for wear.
Our room wasn’t properly cleaned during our stay and only after I complained to management was it thoroughly cleaned.
They towels and bedding have seen better days.
The amenities does not look anything like the pictures. It all needs serious renovations. The billiard room as featured was non-existent and the gym is only 3 machines which doesn’t even include a treadmill.
Staff members were very helpful, kind and accommodating, but that doesn’t make up for the lack of maintenance.
We were very happy that the beer festival was on the premises and enjoyed the music and food.
Views from the room is breathtaking.

Eyvin【Overall Experience】My stay this time was absolutely fantastic, highly recommended!
【Highlights】First off, the scenery here is truly breathtaking, with expansive views that instantly lift your spirits. Secondly, I have to give a special shout-out to the service – it was *exceptionally* good! The staff were warm, attentive, and made me feel right at home. Plus, getting around was incredibly convenient; there are public buses and even a shuttle bus to various attractions nearby.
【Bonus Surprises】It happened to be my birthday during my stay, and the host went out of their way to arrange birthday decorations, birthday noodles, and a cake. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the occasion feel so special – I was genuinely touched! And the in-house photographer was very professional, great at finding the best angles, so every photo turned out amazing, leaving me with wonderful memories.
【Amenities Experience】The in-room massage tub was a dream. Soaking in it was incredibly relaxing and helped me unwind completely.
【Summary】From the scenery, service, transportation, and facilities to the photography experience, everything was impeccable. This is a hidden gem with incredible value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.
