I went to Hirome Market earlier than check-in time, but I was able to park my car in the parking lot. The open-air bath was also very nice, and the breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious. The Thursday Market was right outside the inn, so I was able to buy fresh vegetables and fruits early in the morning. Thanks to this, I had a great trip.
The all-inclusive plan included delicious breakfast, a dinner buffet, and the lounge, leaving us full the whole time and very satisfied!
Guests included families, young groups, and people of all ages and genders.
Our room had an ocean view, and the sunset was beautiful.
The hot springs also had a sauna and open-air bath.
There was also a hot spring lounge, creating a luxurious space where you could relax!
The hotel is located in a remote area, suitable only for self-driving tours. The hotel is situated on a cliff, offering a very quiet environment. All rooms face the sea, but it is a bit dated, and the large bathhouse is a bit far from the rooms, which may be inconvenient for elderly people. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast and dinner were also good.
We stopped at the southern town of Kochi during our Shikoku cycling challenging around the island. It was a long day after 130km from Shishiku but finally arrived at the Dormy Inn at around 3:30pm.
Location wise it’s excellent as it is at the heart of the shopping district with many shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel is bike friendly allowing us to take the bike into our room. Amenities is excellent and room is clean although a tad smaller than expected. In general I am happy with our decision staying at the Dormy Inn of Kochi.
Good location, advanced facilities, high quality food, especially the breakfast buffet with many choices and good taste. The hotel staff are friendly, enthusiastic and helpful, which is a very good impression.
The hotel has a hot spring, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The view from the window is also quite nice. It's a decent hotel, nothing special. The hotel receptionist was very polite upon check-in, and I would probably stay here again next time!
Very impressive experience in the quiet and beautiful town. It is quite convenient to KUT. The hot spring is quite nice. So surprised and moved to get hot drinking water in the room in the last stay. Will stay here if I come in future.
The hot spring was very pleasant. There was also a sauna! I went to the rice shop in the facility, but I was a little disappointed that I made a mistake in calculating at the time of payment. The rice you have reserved seems to come out smoothly, but it takes time to order it on the spot. We recommend that you book dinner or eat outside.
The hotel is on the top of the mountain in Weisong Park. If you have luggage, you need to take a taxi from JR station to the hotel. Because there is a steep mountain road, you can walk from the hotel to the bottom of the mountain in a few minutes with your bare hands. Several bridges over the Shimanto River can be seen in the hotel room. The room is a bit big, with a total of three rooms, the outermost one has six posts, the middle bedroom has eight posts, and the inside has four posts, which is relatively large in Japanese-style hotels. When the guest is about to go out, the waiter will prepare your shoes early, and when the guest comes back to the room, the waiter will cool the shoes before putting them away. The Japanese cuisine in the morning and evening is also good.

GGuest UserWe had the most amazing time at Sodayama Onzen. It is a very special place to relax and unwind. Our room had a private onsen overloooking a stream in the forest. The rooms were very spacious and clean. We also enjoyed the amazing food! It was a very special experience but way too much, especially in the mornings. But it was a great experience of fine Japanese cuisine. The staff was so friendly, communication with google translate helped.

GGuest UserFor this trip, I chose a hotel closer to Episode 36!
A hotel with beautiful sea views and a well-designed outdoor hot spring pool.
The front desk staff were very patient. On the eve of the typhoon, many buses changed their schedules. The hotel staff also took us to the bus stop with the departing bus!
Really sincerely grateful🙏
Highly recommended!
JJudy Ling LingThe first time I came to Xingluo to buy 40,000, the rural taste was very strong ...... Watching a stream along the road was very enjoyable ..... Unfortunately, I only lived for one day, and I will definitely come to Xingluo 40,000 again when I have time.

TTylerHoThe front desk clerk communicated in English very carefully and explained the hot spring opening hours in the hotel.
No hot springs were intended to be used, and soup tax was paid upon check-in.
The room has historical traces and the hygiene is acceptable.
You can park directly in the parking lot behind the hotel by car, free of charge.
