This can be troublesome for guests arriving by foot as you’ll need to backtrack to Kazeto if mistakenly arriving at Watowa first. Staff at check in were helpful and friendly (English speaking) and provided ample information about the facilities and attractions in Yunotsu and surrounds.

Suitenkaku was our first stay in a Ryokan. Those who want to visit Tottori, Izumo and Sakaiminato will find Matsue well located, while the Ryokan is next door to the Ichibata railway deserving the Izumo Taisha. I loved the delicious ramen served in the evening, the relaxing onsen, the peaceful atmosphere, the impeccable cleanliness, and all the extra services included. The location is also very convenient, just next to the station. I would have loved to stay more nights, but unfortunately, there was no availability. I really hope to come back!
