( premier choc..).

The hotel itself was very near to the beach, and in a good location. It has some nice swimming pools, however it is important to note that the hotel is not for the British as 99% of the guests are French. The food is only catered for the French and steal plus didn’t have anything Moroccan. Food is fine, but we mainly eat from the salad bar as the chicken was red. Other meats were questionable. Breakfast has a selection of croissants and scrambled eggs but again not a great selection unless you like cereal. Spoons are not provided. On arrival the reception seems to be helpful but that’s where it ended as they couldn’t be bothered and rude at times. That said the bar staff, waiters and waitresses were all fantastic. Ali in the entertainment was super nice, but unfortunately the entertainment is only in French. Drinks are limited and not what I’ve had on other all inclusive holidays. It would be nice to have tea and coffee in the room for those who get up early in the morning and can’t wait for the restaurant to open at 7am. Rooms are fine, and clean. The balcony is very small, and consists of two plastic chairs and a table. Bit of a squeeze to fit two people in. Where our room was we could hardly hear the ****** but other guests we spoke to said it was very loud. Be aware of the flies as they bite. If you smoke getting an ashtray is a daly mission.

Brilliant all inclusive for the money. Can't go wrong. Mostly French speaking holiday makers. But food and drinks were great. We had the best hamam( massage) we have ever had. Going back next March for my birthday with family and friends. The pool staff are on it keeping you busy keeping fit. There is a separate kids pool away from the main pool. The apartments are spread out away from the noise of the pool but don't have lifts.

Nice hotel ,plesent staff However the hotel is next door to a loud night club which go's on till around 8am at which point it turns to a carpark party every morning.Be warned..........................................................

Overall friendly staff and reps, however a few were quite rude and unprofessional in their attitude towards guests. The food was adequate and the room felt confined due to a small lower level. Mainly all the entertainment was French orientated but we made an effort to integrate, in order to attempt to take part. All in all, we wouldn’t return but for 4 nights, was a pleasant change of scenery.

Lovely hotel set in beautiful extensive gardens. Rooms are large, beds comfortable and cleaned every day with fresh towels. The food is very good and plentiful. Particularly impressed that they bring you a whole bottle of wine in an ice bucket and really nice wine at that. The service in the restaurant and bars very good and the staff are all so friendly, nothing is too much trouble. No problem in getting a sunbed round the pool as they are not put out until after breakfast. I would certainly come here again. The only downside is the noise from the nightclub next door particularly at weekends.

Arrived at this hotel for a weeks break as in January stayed in a Riu hotel just up the road. Love the area but didn’t want same hotel. Big mistake. This hotel I would only rate as a 3* no more. The room is spotlessly clean primitive bathroom with not very hot water. The bed is comfortable but the room is very dated although Moroccon style. The vanity unit in the room has the drawer dropped and was when we arrived of which no one mended and is still like it. No shower gel has been replaced once used and the toilet paper is so thin you need the roll to wipe. The noise is atrocious. From 2am to 6am the horns from all the cars do a chorus so much so you can’t sleep as so loud. Nobody seems to do anything about it and on complaining got told it was the people leaving the night club and everyone sounds their horn. Don’t come if you have children you will be up all night! Breakfast is boring but edible if you want dry cardboard toast. It is an effort to try and get eggs as the queue is so long everything else is cold by the time a fried egg or omelette is cooked. Same as evening meal, such queues it makes it a feat to get a meal, again French take presidence. We seem to be unique in the fact we are English! Certainly not catered for here. Every menu, instruction, excursion is aimed and written for the French. English is not understood too well here and it makes it awkward. On the first day we tried to book an excursion but the experience centre where you book only have everything on the wall in French. Does the hotel think that the don’t English matter? One rep is very good and doesn’t speak French, he explained everything to us. We were told a taxi anywhere would be 20 Dirham which lead to an argument with the taxi driver as he wanted 30Dirham. Couldn’t understand why we were told that. Also got told if go,to the Souk start at least 50% of the price being a haggler I thought this was great but truly offends the stall holders and they walk away from you. Weather warm but extremely windy and nothing to do of a night time. Pools very cold not much in way of snacks or entertainment as again all tanoid calls were in French, no English to get you involved.

Basic 3* hotel, not 4*. Rooms very basic, bathroom had old towels which had seen better days. Hubby is disabled and gets about on a travel mobility scooter so I emailed the hotel in advance to warn them and ask for a room on the ground floor but no reply. When we arrived they tried to put us in a room on the first floor with numerous steps leading up to the block and then again up to the 1st floor as there are no lifts, when we complained at reception that we could not get up there they took an hour to locate another room on the ground floor but still with steps leading to the block whereas another block (3) had a ramp. The food was passable and catered for the French which I don't mind but the tea and coffee was not good. I tried to pay for a coffee in the bar but they had no milk, good job I brought my cappucino sachets and teabags and milk and kettle with me from the UK. They provide very small bottles of water at the restaurant and bar but none in the room. The wine was the only redeeming feature as it was palatable both red and rosé and they brought it by the bottle which is rare. The slide area and the kids pool was nice and there were plenty of sunbeds by the kids pool but the bar there only opened at 4pm, the main pool was too busy and loud. The kids club was not open as far as I could see. They don't really cater for kids other than the slides and kid's pool as the restaurant opened at 7.30pm and not before for the kids which is far too late for them. At 8.30 in the mini disco, it was all targeted for the French and they did not speak English at all, our family with toddlers and children didn't know what was going on. If you are a group of 8 or more you have to tip the waiters to get a table to seat all of you. In fact you have to tip to get any kind of service. We got the impression that the staff just don't care. Suffice to say we won't be going back.

We are due to visit in a weeks time. I’m really apprehensive seeing the below reviews regarding the noise. The reservation is under the name peters we have sent an email. Please can we be located in the quietest part as I’m over 6 months pregnant and am quite nervous about the noise and fighting. I’d really appreciate if someone could come back to us via email from Neil Peters. Thank you so much in advance.
