Very Disapppointing! Superior Double with garden view.Half Board. We arrived very late, taken to room by receptionist who helped us carry cases - good job as there were lots of steps and no lift for most of the journey to Block 2. Plated up food left from evening meal in fridge - awful. Lucky we had soft bread left too, shame no butter. Kettle provided and 2 cups, no coffee/tea/milk and bottle of water in fridge. We kicked off our shoes and found the floor was gritty and dirty appears not been cleaned. Decided to wait and see tomorrow, maid must have cleaned it next day. The walk down the hill to the resort was ceratinly more than a mile nearer 2 it took 25 mins along a winding road with cars speeding up and down, no pavements, not well lit at night. Coutesy Bus has to be booked in advance. Safety Deposit box was in a cupboard at floor level, decided we needed to use but had to pay for this, my husband had to lay on the floor to use the safe. BathRoom was clean but dated and needed sealant re-doing. Metal toilet roll holder was loose and fell off frequently. Shelves in wardrobe had missing pegs to keep them straight so clothes tipped and slid about. Breakfast was poor not appealing, random food boiled eggs had black rings between white and yolk possibly re-heated? Toasters Juice machine, bread basket and Hot drink machine all in one corner- impossible.Evening meal was advertised as Buffet Restaurant - stayed in 2 nights and was disgusted with the food- it was cheap quality, so ate out rest of week. Cold food wasn't cold and hot food wasn't even warm. Cheap and poor quality. I think this hotel is being run on a very tight budget. Only people who make the place good are the barman Akis and Maria and Nik who helped us plan our car drive out. Apart from these 3 people the rest of the hotel staff are miserable, don't smile, are not welcoming. Toilet by the pool and in Reception, I had to ask for them to be cleaned, floors wet and no loo-paper. Scum mark around the water level in pool - asked the Jet 2 Rep about this he said they would be emptying pool at end of season to clean it. There was no evidence of on-going cleaning during the day in public areas. Really has the Pandemic been forgotten already!! Late flight home - unable to keep room on, no courtesy room offered - had to use showers by pool with tepid water to have a shower before going home. All in all poor poor poor. Jet 2 need to re-think their 3* rating. Its a buget hotel on a shoe-string, not for us I'm afraid
