👎❌🚫🙅⚠️😔🤭 Avoid this resort at any cost! (મફત માં ભી ના જવાય) If you still want to spoil your weekend mood then just go for Sterling Greenwoods Lake Resort! We were 2 couples and went there on Saturday lunch one-day picnic plan. We had chosen the Lunch only package from the reception counter. The price was 628 inclusive of GST. So it cost us 2516 INR for 4 persons which we had paid in advance. Then we were given Orange wristbands on our hands. 👎 The place was not hygienically clean like it should be. We were able to see Spits of Pan/Mava/Masala/Gutkha at many places including Washrooms. The floor of the toilets was not clean too. 👎 Bad smell was coming from some places like the Game activity room and many other places. 👎 Food was Okayish but over spicy and not normal like everyone can eat. The soup quality was bokwas! I had to throw the soup directly into dustbin. Kabab was not fresh. Desert icecream was something like a hidden treasure and I had to ask them rather than they should offer it from their side even though it was in our package. There were two subjis, butter roti, Dal, Rice, Salad, Papad, Buttermilk, Desert icecream. 👎 It clearly seems they are not maintaining property very well. 👎 Swimming Pool water was NOT good at all. I have seen this water quality lowest possible. It was too much dirt/mud on the pool surface down. Due to that, you can not even stand straight inside the pool and just slip away. Even though we complained to the manager there, they just said I will do something now. But guess what he did NOTHING at all which we already knew that it is not in their capacity to manage even pool water quality. 👎 Swimming pool size was very small as compared to other resorts I had visited nearby. 👎 Swimming pool depth is not much in any area of the pool. Normally in all resorts depth of the pool varies from short depth in one corner to long depth in another corner. Here they seem only 4 feet maximum depth where we can not enjoy a lot of swimming because your legs will hit the bottom surface very easily in those short depths. 👎 Swimming pool changing the room for Male and females was very very dirty and stinky. It was too bad smell everywhere such as everyone peed there in changing rooms! I found government sulabh sauchalaya has better quality toilets as compared to this one they have there. In the female changing room, water was not coming initially for taking a shower! The swimming pool should be covered with Shade so that at least people can enjoy the pool on these hot summer days too. The place is located very near Vaishnodevi Circle on S.P. Ring Road. Car Parking space was for around 30 cars. We were given a welcome drink upon arrival and that was blueberry soda. The Indoor Game Activity room had only 4 games which were Dartboard, Table tennis, Carrom, and Chess where we could not spend much time. I have a horror story about Sterling Greenwoods. 11 years ago, me and my classmates from Kamala Raheja Institute of Architecture in Bombay took a trip to Ahmedabad. We stayed at the hotel because it was decently priced. Right from Day 1- we noticed that the hotel staff was being very shady. Several hotel staff members would walk into the rooms of my female classmates without knocking. Some of us complained to the management but obviously they didn't do anything about it, hence a few of my friends ended up leaving that day- they didn't even care about a refund. But the rest of us stayed back and that was a huge mistake. The next night, another classmate of mine came into my room panicstruck- telling me that one of the hotel staff had climbed into her window and tried to touch her. Me and a few boys from my class went down to the reception desk and demanded that the hotel look into the situation. That's when things went down so fast. The hotel management called goons from the area and held us captive for the night. They refused to let us leave and terrorized us by screaming at us, hitting us. They even took our phones away, so we wouldn't be able to call anyone. They demanded money from a few of my friends if they wanted to leave. We stayed up all night explaining profusely that we can't pay up, and that we were just students. At the end of the night, the hotel staff made each and every one of us sign a piece of blank paper before letting only the girls leave. Me and another boy from my class ended up staying. By 6 PM, the manager just wanted us to stay back and work in the kitchen- which was a bizarre thing to ask, but at this point we just knew that some psychos ran this place. We stayed there for a couple of hours before making a run for the gate. We forgot all about this bizarre and crazy and violent night- I don't know who runs this god forsaken property now but trust me- DON'T GO HERE! This is what nightmares are made of. This place needs to be shut down and these goons need to rot in jail for the rest of their lives.
