Trendy Lara

We went over Xmas and initially booked because we got a good deal and the reviews seemed fine Check-in was very efficient and smooth The room was clean, tidy and well equipped (no iron which can be hired for €5 and hour) housecoat, slippers, hairdryer and also the hotel provide shampoo, conditioner,shower gel, body lotion(all replenished over our stay) plus cotton buds, cotton wool pads, nail file, sewing kit. Mini bar has pop, water and beer no spirits Huge comfortable bed and blackout curtains Plenty of lifts, plenty of area's to relax and chill Sports bar was quiet whilst we were there so lacked any atmosphere but if you want to watch the sport in peace it was ok We hardly ever had to go to the bar for a drink because there was always a waiter ready to take a drinks order. Nice to have proper labelled drinks made in proper measures not cheap drink made so strong they are awful Not all the restaurants were open because the hotel was extremely quiet but they did open up the steak restaurant between Xmas and New year The main restaurant had a vast selection is food and there was always something to eat (I am very fussy and didn't struggle at all) They went all out for the puddings etc over xmas. We even woke up to a stocking on our door with fruit, nuts and Turkish delight New year's eve gala looked amazing and free today guests but we left that morning so missed it The meat dishes were cooked well and I never had fat or grissle in any Waiting staff very attentive Our only disappointment was that the.fois was not the hottest but you get over that Dom's bistro is great for afternoon food, the menu was limited but cooked to order so that is to be expected, not got time food is buffet style Eclair is the place to go in the afternoon for a drink and cake which were all beautiful and tasty Lots of pools with 1 outdoor (not quite heated but not cold and we swam almost daily) and 1 indoor heated pool. The pool bar was ideally located and waiters on roller skates kept us well supplied with drinks. Turkish coffee can be obtained in the lobby bar and in eclair and you should try it sweetened or not up to you but it's a lovely nutty drink, Turkish tea available at all bars and is great with a slice of lemon Location is not ideal if you want to be in the center of a busy area. The hotel is quite far from anything but there is a bus that you can catch outside the hotel for 50p per person each way, you can use your debit card contactless I don't think they use cash but not 100% sure. There are a few places you can get of the bus with shopping malls that don't sell the fake tat and ar also good places to get any snacks etc as the shop in hotel is not cheap. All in all we had a great break and both felt completely recharged , I am sure in the main season it is not as peaceful but if you have children there is plenty to keep them occupied with the water park, tennis courts activities etc There is a beach but we didn't go to it and is a boat trip away ther is

We are currently staying at Trendy Lara. The grounds are lovely. It's a good resort for those on holiday with children of certain ages (maybe 4-8ish). Beyond that it's difficult to comment positively. Negatives to note in particular include poor service in the main restaurant. No offer of drinks, no assistance with high chairs, and extremely poor food options, apart from for children. The chicken from the grill consists of chicken carcass, you are lucky to get chicken with the bone. The buffet is mainly boiled food. You can get shepherd's pie for breakfast should you wish to?! They seem to pride the buffet on Turkey, as in the bird. It would be so much better if they actually focused on their own cuisine rather than general Eastern European foods and beige English offerings. There is no bar close to the entertainment stage, very odd. The children's entertainment stage is at the furthest point of the hotel, with again no option for refreshments. Very poor planning. The children's food & facilties are good, however, the evening disco starts at 20.30 or 21.00, not very well thought. Being offered a coffee at breakfast is a basic.

WOW, review number 1. Been here 2 nights now with my wife, going home in 5 days. What an amazing, stunning, singing all dancing hotel. Views are amazing (were in room 3622 on 6th floor). Everything you could wish for. The food is plentiful, and the choice is mind-blowing from morning to night. The management and staff are brilliant, they can't do enough for you. So nice people. Our room is large, full AC, mini bar with beer/water and soft drinks filled daily. Left the guy a tip today and more efes appered lol. Loads of bars and open just about 24/7. Sports bar shuts at 7am lol. How mads that! Snack bars galore from pizza, kebabs, burgers, fries. salad, ce creams, cakes, coffees/tea/beer/cocktails and lots more. Lots of amenities and sports for the active. Great for kids too with water slides, kids clubs and shows. Shows and live music daily. Boat free to private beach runs right outside the complex. Cleanliness is just out of this world. I've been all over the world in 5 star hotels and this is high on my list. I will post more once we investigate more. Ps the guy on the rollerskates who delivers you drink around the pool is funny and just adds the extra touch to an amazing hotel. You won't be disappointed. Will update soon when we investigate more. So far so special x.

Having been to Turkey lots of times to some very nice hotels I would say this is up there with the best, nice staff, clean, decent food, plenty of choice, nice pools, snacks etc, just a few negatives, and this next one is the biggest in my opinion, I like the AC in a hotel bedroom, in fact it's a must have, but what I didn't like here was the hotel seem to turn it off in the hours where your asleep, I woke up a few times hot, and I usually get good night's sleeps in hotels, but not here, if you pay for AC you should be able to control when you want it to work, another negative there is nothing at all outside the hotel, we tried to get a bus into the little town but it was travel card only or something, we ended up getting a taxi there and back in the end, All in all if they sort out the A.C so it's the client who has control then we will be back, good luck sleeping in July and August with that heat by the way

Having never been to Turkey before we were a little sceptical regarding the five star status given to the many hotels. After doing some research my wife and I selected Trendy Hotel for a seven day stay. How wrong we were to be so sceptical. The hotel has been a pleasant surprise and we would both highly recommend. The staff, food, pool and grounds have been magnificent! This has resulted in our stay flying over (always a sign of a great holiday). We have stayed the majority of our time on the complex which has more than met our needs. Obviously there are always minor gripes about any hotel and it’s only correct that these are mentioned. These include the hotels beach area which in my opinion is not to the standard of the hotel. That said the boat ride and back to the beach is pleasant and worth the visit. The fact that the pool areas are so well kept and surrounded by such lovely grounds the beach is hardly a miss. The rooms are very pleasant and well maintained with plenty of storage and a free safe. However, the lighting is a little low level in the main area but that said the bathroom is well lit and there was plenty of hot water. As stated these are minor gripes. To conclude we would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel

10/10 experience! Our time at the Trendy Lara Hotel was absolutely amazing. Everything from the lovely rooms to the excellent service from the kind, polite staff. The food at the restaurants was amazing and a special shout out to Yahya at Noma Restaurant for his amazing service during our honeymoon dinner. Elena and Yusuf at the guest relations desk were brilliant! They handled every question we had and made sure our time was stress free! If we ever return to Antalya, we will be staying at Trendy Lara and that is especially because of Elena and Yusuf’s hospitality!

Trendy Lara exceeded my expectations. Staff are friendly, helpful and the service is a 10/10. They will go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. A special mention for Yahya at the Noma restraunt for our Honeymoon dinner and Yusuf & Elena at Guest relations who made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible and handled all our queries. This was my first time to Turkey and I have found my hotel. Will be back again soon!

The Trendy Lara Hotel provided an exceptional experience during my recent stay. The accommodations were spacious and well-appointed, and the food, drinks, and entertainment options were all of high quality. The animation team was particularly impressive, and the service provided by Kemel at the restaurant and beach bar was outstanding. I look forward to returning to the Trendy Lara Hotel later this year and would like to express my gratitude to the entire team for their excellent hospitality.
