the staff is nice and the amenities are great but anytime you need to get in and out of the property you have to get the attention of one of the staff members who are rarely at the front of the property. one night i stepped out into the city and came back at 3am just to wait outside the property in my rental until someone heard my car horn. mind you the property is not in a safe area and is away from main roads

Very picturesque property, but expensive for feeling trapped onsite in a bad neighborhood. Food and massage were subpar yet very expensive. Felt like I did not get value for my money and while the two staffers who lived onsite were nice, I would not stay again nor would I recommend anyone stay there. No one else was there during my stay, it was odd. Nice staff.

This is a beautiful, tucked away gem. The staff, particularly Angie, and the owner, Arturo, were very attentive and accomodating. It's a 20-30 minute ride to the Hotel Zone depending on traffic, but the tranquility at Tsaakik was worth the distance.

The resort Is very peaceful and has beautiful gardens and pool. Staff is extremely friendly making you feel welcome. Very nice resort. The place is secluded, away from noise and the crowds of tourist. The rooms are beautiful. The surrounding area to the resort is not as well kept, road is not paved. If you travel to stay in resort you will be fine. If you expect to leave resort public transportation is limited to the down town and shopping areas and best to use a cab. Over all it is a very peaceful and beautiful setting in a gated environment.

This is a nice property but it is severely understaffed. The garden and the pool area are beautiful and the villa was okay. The problem comes with the service. And that's not because of lack of friendliness or willingness to serve. It is because there simply isn't enough staff members! The whole thing starts with getting in and out of the property; it all is just way too difficult and time consuming; you simply can't just walk/drive in or out. Also, the breakfast took way too long to get and it was just not good enough. Again, the staff did the best they could with the resources they had, but they were obviously overworked. It is a shame that such a nice property is left without sufficient personnel.
