Novotel Guangzhou Baiyun Airport (Terminal 2)

Very close to the airport, with a shuttle service to the terminal every half an hour, taking about 5 minutes, which is super convenient. Even though I only slept for a few hours, everything was great. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm at Guangzhou Airport.

This was my second stay, and it was still great. The room was very comfortable, had everything I needed, and was clean. The air conditioning worked well, the bathrobes and slippers were lovely, and the toiletries smelled good. The wellness facilities were quite good, with both wet and dry saunas, though they are actually located within the Pullman hotel. Breakfast was just okay. The location is super convenient; there aren't many hotels this close to Baiyun Airport. If you're departing from T1, you can walk there from the departures level. If you're at T2, I recommend taking the shuttle bus to T1. You don't even need to enter the terminal; just cross the driveway and garden to reach the Pullman, then pass through the Pullman to get here.

A reluctant choice. It's really hard to find a satisfactory hotel close to the terminals at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport. Guess I'll have to wait for the Hilton at T3 to open. The hotel is right next to the Pullman, and they share a shuttle bus. Getting to T1 and T2 is quite a detour, takes about 10 minutes. There was a menu in the room for robot food delivery, but after scanning the QR code, it said: service suspended.

This hotel is conveniently located very close to the airport, which makes choosing it for a stay quite easy. It's relatively new, and all the facilities are in good working order. The only real downside was the shuttle service to T2. They didn't seem to have enough vehicles prepared in advance. People usually stay at airport hotels either because their flight lands late or they have an early morning flight, so it's predictable that these times will be the busiest. I ended up taking the 5:55 AM shuttle, and due to the sheer number of people and luggage, there weren't enough seats. It took 15 minutes of faffing around before we finally left, which delayed everyone. I really think the hotel should have an extra shuttle on standby.

I stayed here the night before to catch an early morning flight. It was okay, but the shower water pressure was too low; the stream was very weak. I hope they can improve that.
