Astana International Hotel

The hotel is in a great location, because it is super central. Baykonur metro station is very near and on Abaya many buses routes linking to every part of the city. This is the best pro of the hotel, I must say that the room was clean but… it really needs a serious renovation of the furniture, of the room style and the corridors as well. It looks like the hotel is stuck in the mid 90s-early 00s, the carpeting is very old and all the closets and beds are very old… The corridors are very Soviet style, it looks like to be in a polyclinic room. This is not a 4-steal hotel for nowadays standards, the photos of the rooms shown on trip.com are deceiving, our standard double room was not like that at all. Please, try to invest a little bit more in this hotel. It has a great potential.

Please avoid staying here at all costs. The bathroom door was broken and got stuck, which was very unsafe. The room had an unpleasant smell, and despite requesting a queen bed, we were given two single beds pushed together. Not as advertised. The bed was noisy and uncomfortable, and overall the place felt like a very low-budget hotel despite rated as 4 star 👎 The room and bathroom lighting were extremely dim, making the space feel gloomy. There were insects in the room, which was unacceptable. Breakfast was very disappointing and repetitive every day, limited to eggs, sausages, rice, oats, cereal, fruits, and bread. Some of the bread was even moldy. Also staff are not friendly. Overall, this stay was extremely unpleasant. Please find somewhere else to stay.

Good location for to join a tour and i can walk to take metro in 5 min.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Too overpriced!The room was very uncomfortable to be in. Everything was very old, breaking loose and looking dirty. The room looks like it hasn't been repaired since 90s. It's just a shame for 4 stars. It doesn't deserve more than 2.

Walking distance to bus station where we take our van for day trip. Just across the hotel. Easy to get too.

Good location, about 5 minutes walk to subway station and a few bus stands nearby. The only drawback for this hotel is the bed, pillow and blanket are too old and thin.

Curtain, shower room door is broken, even they can’t be completely closed, carpet is old and dirty, the staffs are friendly and helpful, but still not worthy for the price and called four star, quite disappointed
