Reception staff hardly can speak English. Rooms are small and carpets are bad. Breakfast is same every day. No kettle in the room to make tea/coffee even thou they say its 4 star hotel.

It is an old hotel and needs a lot of work in terms of coming up to standards. The service was just average. The rooms were not great, bathroom was well below standards.
Complimentary breakfast very limited and not up to the mark.
The location of the hotel is great though.
Difficult to recommend.

The hotel is a bit old and for a 4 stars hotel you would expect better quality. The breakfast is not great. However, the staff is super helpfull.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. The rooms are also ok, warm inside so it's nice to unwind. The bathroom is clean and the water is very warm. If I go on holiday to Almaty again I will stay here again

It's a very retro hotel, and the room feels like it's back to the 1990s. The location is excellent, 300m from the subway station, there is a supermarket next to it, and it takes about 50 minutes to take a taxi to the airport. For breakfast, you can also have bread, porridge, sausages, eggs, omelettes, milk, yogurt, and dried fruits. The yogurt is delicious, but the coffee is instant. The room is cleaned every day, but I was only given a bottle of water during my three-day stay. It seems more reasonable to put a bottle every day.
