Excellent value for money place. Same standards as any aloft worldwide. Clean and nice. The only downside was the location which is far away from the city center. However it’s ideally located for people passing through the city especially on a road trip to other areas. Staff were friendly and courteous too.

An excellent stay. Very relaxing. Very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Front desk staff English speaking which was muchly appreciated since my Chinese is so terrible. The heated swimming pool was very nice. The breakfast selections were great ! ! ! I'm not a big fan of carpeted rooms, but overall the bathroom area was like new. I would not hesitate to book a stay again next time. Super affordable too. I paid 268 RMB per day which included the awesome breakfast. Thank you to staff at The Aloft in Shangjie.

The bed in the hotel is really big and the space is quite large, which is suitable for me to take a nap while working. I really like the simple and bright style. When you are bored, you can also go to the gym on the second floor of the hotel to exercise, which is really a good idea.

I stayed at this Marriott hotel on my way to Shaolin Temple for one night. I didn't expect such a good hotel in a small city.
