I decided to celebrate my 51st birthday with 3 girls friends in isla de Ometepe. San Juan de la isla is the best hotel there is. The food was so delicious and the service excellent. We took two cabins in front of the the lake. We saw the sunrise and fell in love with the island. We climb Volcan Conception with the island best tour guide. The whole experience was wander full and I’ll be back soon.

This was paradise! Wonderful resort ; very clean and well located in the middle of the island. Set on a beautiful volcanic beach and with a wonderful restaurant, which had reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and can't wait to return!

My family and I stayed in 3 different rooms. All with A/C and private bathrooms. The room in the beach had some common dirt in furniture. All the rest of the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Given the hotel is a bit isolated, it would improve a customers stay if some transport was provided to make it easier to get into town. Pleasant surrounds, breakfast adequate and plenty of hot water. Econ rooms sufficient for the stay. One slight problem, but rectifies soon enough.

Perfect spot right on the lake, beautiful beach.
The gardens are amazing, breakfast ( included ) are delicious. Staff super polite and helpful.
Couldn’t recommend it more. We traveled with 2 kids ( 8 and 10 ) and rented the family room for 3 nights. It was perfect.

Absolutely beautiful flora and fauna, an idyllic location. Bonus to have breakfast included. Food quality at dinner ok. Comfortable hammocks. The 3-person room we had was clean, comfortable with AC that worked well, but interior lighting was quite dim, and wifi was very sporadic. Otherwise an absolutely stunning location right on the lake with a beach that you could walk out part way into the water.

It was a wonderful place to stay with my grandkids! Everything was perfect except the bugs at dinner. I am sure they will fix it, but the geckos would poop on us. Everything else was w fantastic!

Finca San Juan was a wonderful place to stay! The farm was so beautiful and it felt like a private oasis. Everything was clean and the grounds were pristinely kept. The staff was excellent. Everyone was so friendly. We do not speak Spanish well but the staff was patient and kind in communicating with us. The farm is 2 kilometers off the road and the terrain is tough. We were able to get to and from the farm on a motorbike but an ATV or dirt bike would have probably been the best option. Also, the food and drinks were excellent! Juan makes the best margarita I have ever had! The AC in the room was great as well as the hot water. We had a great stay here.
