Stayed at this quaint hotel back in November and loved it. It’s a quaint botique hotel. It is about a 10 min walk to the town center. Had a great view of the volcanoes from the rooftop! The rooms are spacious and quite antique but it was what we expected based from the description. Would recommend it!

This boutique hotel is so special. The kindest employees, shuttle service from the airport, and beautiful decor. The rooms are lovely. The shower is lovely. There are updated plug ins for electronics. The beds are comfortable with excellent pillows. The shower is gorgeous. Our room had a fireplace, we were walking distance to everywhere we needed to go. They have water bottles in the room. They have lockers. I highly highly recommend. It’s so quiet at night so we slept so well. A really special place. Anibal was so kind to work with.

Easily understood why this is a favorite in Antigua. Absolutely exquisite interior design and attention to detail. The staff are incredibly hospitable and made it easy for us with odd flight times and in between night to the volcano. Can’t recommend this hotel enough. Definitely walk to the nursery just a block or so away. A hidden gem

We had a great stay here, in the junior spot on the second floor. Our room was nice, and we had time to enjoy bubbles on the private area of the rooftop patio one evening. The service was great. We had them book a day trip to Pacaya for us as well as some other, smaller reservations. The provided breakfast was delicious.

The place is very dated. I understand it is supposed to be an antique place, but the rooms are very run down. The curtains are very old, ragged, and dirty; the carpets appear very dirty, things were falling apart including the lamps next to the beds, the soap holder in the shower, and various other things. The common areas appear nice, but I did not partake on them. The property is very small and it very much feels like an old house. I hated the fact that I had to be knocking on the front door to let me in and out whenever we went out of the property. Guests are not given keys to the front door. The wifi is very slow and it stopped working at 9:30 PM. Also the there is no cable tv. Only streaming of your own subscriptions. (i.e. Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.). Again, this is your own subscription. Definitely the place is very over priced for what you get. At best, it should cost half of the current rates. There are much better options to stay in Antigua than this property. The staff was attentive, but it does not make for the shortfalls of the place. Never again for me.

We stayed in the Rose Suite. This is the only room upstairs and has its own private balcony. The staff even bring breakfast up to your outside patio. The room was large and very comfortable. There was a jacuzzi bath which was relaxing. Nathalia was always available to answer our questions and provide helpful recommendations. I enjoyed my stay very much and think this is the best hotel you will find within the city of Antigua.

We stayed here in April 2024. It is a nice hotel with large rooms. We do not have children, and most of the guests seemed to also have no children traveling with them. The breakfast service was very good. There is an outdoor seating area on the roof. The hotel is a short walk from the main downtown area. We asked the hotel to arrange a tour guide who could show us around Antigua - they arranged a great guide (Manuel).

We stayed two nights at the Posada and it was very nice. The staff is very welcoming and the hotel has a nice atmosphere with a beautiful terrace. The location is excellent. On the negative side the rooms are a bit dated and would need a renovation
