While the price isn't cheap, it's absolutely worth every penny. We checked in on June 21st, and the front desk even upgraded our room. The hotel environment is lovely, and there's a forest boardwalk nearby, perfect for a stroll.
The hotel's location is excellent, right by the Old Mountain Gate of Changbai Mountain's North Gate. It's just a stone's throw away from the entrance, allowing guests to use the North Gate VIP lane and the Tianchi shuttle VIP lane, saving a significant amount of time waiting in lines.
Dining options are a bit pricey. Other than a nearby Crowne Plaza hotel, there are no other dining establishments in the vicinity. For example, an egg fried rice costs 38 RMB, pork and cabbage dumplings 48 RMB, and the taste was just mediocre. The 'Liu Rou Duan' (sautéed sliced pork) was a bit tough at 99 RMB per serving, 'Di San Xian' (stir-fried potato, eggplant, and bell pepper) was 48 RMB, and a bowl of rice was 5 RMB. Breakfast, however, was quite plentiful, offering items like noodles, tofu pudding, and more. The hot springs are great, with multiple indoor and outdoor pools, each offering different temperatures.
Finally, regarding Tianchi Lake on June 22nd: After waiting all day, the fog only cleared around 4 PM, but it was well worth our day-long wait in the cold wind.

We timed our visit with the Changbai Mountain 'Tomb Raider' themed event on August 17th, so we directly booked two nights at the Hilton. I found the service to be absolutely exceptional, far superior to the Shangri-La I stayed at previously (I'll never go back to the Shanghai Shangri-La again!!!!). Right from the moment we arrived, staff members were there to open car doors and handle our luggage. Check-in was incredibly smooth, and they even arranged VIP access for our mountain visit the next morning. I'd expected the hotel to be crowded and service slow, but that wasn't the case; multiple staff members were on hand to assist. The ladies at the front desk were all smiles throughout their shift. While these might be standard offerings at large hotels, it genuinely made us feel comfortable, respected, and highly valued. The hotel had arranged a pick-up service for us before we even arrived, and the driver's service was excellent too, by the way. It truly felt like a warm sense of welcome from the moment we arrived in Changbai Mountain.
The hotel's welcome cookies were delicious! My friend even polished off my share, haha. I'm not big on sweets, but she absolutely loved them. I bet I'll have to take her to the lobby's beverage area tomorrow just to order more, haha. She said they were truly amazing.
The room itself was also fantastic, with a lovely solid wood interior design. Funnily enough, before coming here, I told my friend I disliked wooden decor. But!!! The moment we stepped in, it felt incredibly cozy. The blend of solid wood and modern design was truly striking and refreshing. The room had a mini-fridge and, my favorite, a small sofa, perfect for my friend and me to lounge on, playing with our phones and munching on snacks, haha. The lighting in the room was also a very soft, warm yellow, contributing to that incredibly cozy feeling I mentioned from the moment we walked in. The bathroom had three separate areas: a standalone vanity mirror with lighting, and separate toilet and shower stalls. I absolutely loved this feature! I even told my friend I'm going to rip out my bathroom at home, which is currently being renovated, and remodel it to be exactly like the hotel's, haha.
Back to the main point: since it was peak tourist season, there were many people trying to hail taxis, so the taxi company's dispatch might have been a bit slow. We ended up using an app to call a car ourselves. However, all of this was understandable, as Erdaobaihe Town was absolutely swarming with people – it felt like millions! Nevertheless, the hotel manager and my personal butler were incredibly helpful. They even went out of their way to message me on WeChat specifically to explain the situation, which wasn't even the hotel's fault since they were just assisting us with calling a taxi. It made me feel a bit guilty. Overall, the service was truly meticulous and thoughtful.
After we returned from our outing, we had a sudden urge to have drinks at the lobby bar. We'd seen online that it was open until 11 PM, but when we got to the bar area a little after 10 PM, it was deserted. The front desk clarified it closed at 10 PM – guess you can't trust all online information, haha. We were just about to give up on the idea, but the front desk lady offered to call someone for us. So we ended up having our drinks. We felt a bit bad for delaying their closing time.
Here's the main point: my friend had been suffering from a headache since we got back in the afternoon, and by midnight, the pain was so intense she couldn't sleep, and she woke me up at 3 AM. I contacted our butler, though it was so late I didn't expect a reply. I was truly touched that they replied so late at night. At the same time, I inwardly scolded myself for bothering someone so late 🥲. The butler then connected us with the concierge to arrange a car to fetch medicine. The concierge staff member was incredibly kind and personally came up to confirm everything with us. Unfortunately, in the end, we couldn't get anything because the town's pharmacies were already closed. Nevertheless, I really want to commend the hotel and its staff for being incredibly responsible and dedicated. I feel compelled to write a thousand words praising them! It truly felt like incredibly heartwarming and personalized service. We had a wonderful time on this trip, and if we come back, we'll definitely book the Hilton again. A huge thank you once more to the lovely Nana for her thoughtful and attentive service – both the hotel and its people are fantastic!

The hotel boasts a charming classic style. Our room was spotless and fresh, and the facilities were excellent, especially the complimentary laundry and drying service. This was incredibly convenient for washing our hiking and hot spring clothes promptly – a fantastic perk! Our hotel butler contacted us a day beforehand to assist with itinerary planning. Even when butlers changed shifts, they consistently communicated this and proactively checked if we had any new requests. Upon departure, the butler even presented us with a small gift, thoughtfully expressing concern we might be disappointed if we hadn't been able to see Heaven Lake. The emotional value provided was incredible – we felt truly valued and cared for! We're already thinking of returning in winter!

While the room wasn't large, it was beautifully designed. While the loft layout might be a little inconvenient for older guests, the children were delighted. The hotel's biggest advantage, of course, was the VIP access, but that's not all. In the early morning, the forest was covered in misty rain, the pines dripped with verdant green, and there were clusters of lovely mushrooms. I was even lucky enough to spot wild Ganoderma lucidum. In the evening, the outdoor baths, steaming from the freshly refreshed spring water, surrounded by lush pines, the sunset glow drifted, and birds chirped. Washing away fatigue with the Changbai Mountain springs was a true paradise on earth. Even in the evening, a clever little fox came to interact with tourists, begging for food and acting cute.
It wasn't just the environment that was lovely. The front desk staff, Xiao Wang, and the driver, Xiao Du, enthusiastically helped me with travel arrangements and found lost items. Customer service representative, Mr. Xu, took me on a forest adventure. And the bathhouse attendants offered to help dry my swimsuit. I'm grateful for their dedication, which made this trip to Changbai Mountain unforgettable. I hope to see you again!

My stay at Naitoushan Resort Hotel felt like a clash between ideal and reality. The ideal part was the surrounding environment, which was like stepping into a serene pastoral painting. Outside the window, terraced rice fields stretched out, distant mountains were shrouded in mist, and the upturned eaves of Korean-style wooden cabins peeked through the lush greenery.
Around 4 or 5 AM, the sky was already fully bright. The sun quickly climbed over the mountain, its golden light streaming through the lattice windows, diagonally spreading across the room's floor and the edge of the bed. Pushing open the window, crisp air, mingled with the scent of dew and rice stalks, rushed in. Faint wisps of smoke were already rising straight up from the chimneys of distant wooden houses, gently dispersed by the wind, carrying a subtle aroma of burning firewood – someone must be starting breakfast. Being deep within the forest, we even saw wild roe deer and foxes on the road entering and exiting the hotel for the first time.
The only restaurant in the village was a barbecue place, and the owner was wonderful. When buying cantaloupes, he'd let us take our children to his vegetable garden to pick fresh cucumbers and tomatoes. In the evening, a stroll through the village revealed the setting sun casting long shadows from the wooden cabins, and cooking smoke slowly fading into the twilight. Occasionally, a few dog barks would drift from afar before quickly receding into the silence, as wildflowers along the road swayed gently in the evening breeze. There was an indescribable sense of tranquil peace that washed over my heart like warm water. This place lacked any artificial 'scenic spot' feel; it was just life in its purest form, simple yet moving.
The reality, however, is that the hotel deserves a bad review. First, let's talk about breakfast. The milk was so heavily diluted with water that it had no milky taste at all. I had to call a server who then specifically brought me undiluted milk. Then, when I asked an attendant to cook noodles, she said they had no meat broth, only the plain water used for boiling noodles. I offered to wait for her to fetch some chicken broth, but she replied that it was almost the end of service and she couldn't add it, adding that I 'should have gotten up earlier to eat' if I wanted chicken broth. This was frustrating, especially since breakfast service ended at 9 AM and I was there at 8:40 AM. In the end, my noodles were still served in plain cooking water.
Regarding lunch and dinner, Naitoushan only has the hotel's own restaurant and that one barbecue place. If you want to eat in town, a taxi costs 100 RMB round trip, minimum.
Next, the hotel's hot spring. Guests are required to change into their swimwear in their rooms, as the hot spring area itself does not provide bathrobes or towels.
Finally, the hotel service. The front desk staff were quite good; they were responsive to requests, helped arrange taxis, and recommended local food. However, the service from other staff was simply beyond description – there was a complete lack of any service. For a hotel priced similarly to a four-star establishment, this level of service quality is truly unacceptable. It was the worst hotel experience we had during our entire Changbai Mountain trip.

I brushed the north slope twice, but the last time was in the most beautiful season of autumn. This time I took the challenge of driving there in winter. The hotel has convenient parking and a large house. Our team building team came from Beijing. The team lived in a villa which was very lively and they could also play mahjong. The Changbai Mountain Hot Spring that comes with your stay is great. You must experience the ice and fire of Changbai Mountain Hot Spring in winter. If you check into the hotel, there will be a car that will take you directly to the Changbai Mountain North Slope Scenic Area Transfer Center. When you come back, the bus will take you back to the door, which is really convenient. The hotel lobby manager and the front desk lady are very warm and thoughtful. Following people's advice to have a full meal, we listened to the hotel's arrangements and were the first to go to Tianchi in the morning, and successfully saw Tianchi. Due to the strong wind, Tianchi was closed, haha! Also, buying skiing and rafting tickets at the hotel is cheaper than online, which is very affordable.

We arrived at Jindalai Inn at 11 noon. The proprietress was beautiful and generous, the service was warm and felt at home. The proprietress enthusiastically introduced the relevant matters of Changbai Mountain tourism and gave a free upgrade to the big room. The room was clean and tidy with good 24-hour hot water, which was a very good travel experience.

The first time I came to the Northeast to play, I felt stable as soon as I got off the bus. I didn’t step on the pit. What I saw directly was the green and tall trees.🌲🌳 There are many flowers and🌹🌼 grass. The air is very fresh. There are many small birds. It’s really comfortable to take a deep breath of air.😌, It's like coming to the forest mushroom house 🍄, it's definitely more beautiful to come here in winter ❄️! Living here is particularly safe, the boss also raised a sika deer 🦌 is very good! Fat 😜, our room is very clean and tidy, well-equipped, with heating and air conditioning, very intimate ❤️ and the price is really very affordable 💰! Going out is the ticket hall of Changbai Mountain Tianchi, and there are many foods and fun around. ‼️‼️ The most favorite is the boss 👨 and the boss 👩. They treat us like family 🧑🧑🧒, warm and generous, recommend us delicious and fun places, and can directly help us contact the vehicle for travel 🚗, which is really convenient. Don't worry about where there is no car, the drivers are also very enthusiastic and the price is very affordable. In short, you will know how good it is when you come here! No loss in equity! I will stay here next time I come to Changbai Mountain 😃! Thank you boss wife for your hospitality! Next time I see 👋👋, the business is booming, and everything is fine.

GGuest UserWe live in this place is a forest farm called Huangsongpu. Because there is rain these days, I want to experience the fire. It is really comfortable to live. The fire is warm and not hot at all when I fall asleep. It is also very comfortable! We also ordered farmhouse dishes here, chicken mushrooms in the northeast, fried a few wild vegetables, can't name too many mountain dishes 😄 In short, the proprietress and aunt are really too enthusiastic, the service is also very thoughtful, must be five-star praise! ! !

GGuest UserI booked this hotel after reading the reviews. Although it is not in Erdaobaihe Town, it is near Huangsongpu Forest Farm. There is a ticket gate to the North Scenic Area of Changbai Mountain nearby, which avoids the North Scenic Area distribution center with a large passenger flow. In addition, you can ask the store to issue an accommodation certificate for the earliest time period for ticket checking. The store owner has a great service attitude and will actively solve our problems. The room is clean and tidy, with water heating + electric heater + electric blanket. It is also warm in winter, and the complimentary breakfast is also very rich. The overall experience is very good and worth recommending.

The boss is good, the location of the inn is relatively close to the scenic spot, 200 meters walk to the ticket gate of the scenic spot, the accommodation environment is OK, clean, the room is very warm, there are many play items around the accommodation, but they are all charged! The only downside is that the inn is relatively far from the rafting and high-speed rail, but the boss can get it!
