We stayed at Asamushi Onsen (about 20mins drive from Aomori downtown) as part of our 2025 Spring trip to Aomori area, and booked Tstsumikan Onsen hotel to stay for the night. The hotel location is great. I think all guest rooms come with open ocean view. No private hot spring tub in the guest room but the large gender-specific hot spring pools are open privately to the overnight stay guests from 8PM to the next morning. The stay comes with 2 meals. The food is good and the dinner was served directly in the guest room. The next morning Japanese breakfast was served in the great tatami dinning room, and the breakfast package even comes with free coffee in the gift shop café after the meal. The staff are warm, and the service is good. My recommendation to this hotel come with no hesitation.

very helpful frontdesk. we are early morning 09:00 flight , front desk special arrange 10 mins earlier for our breakfast at 06:50.
feeling warm that first time to have dinner inside room.

I was so lucky. The sunset that night was like a fire in the sky. The next day, the sky was clear. It was like a private hot spring. The food was also great. It was my favorite Japanese hotel.

The room is old and basic, and the food quality is only average, but you can eat enough. The hot spring is relatively thin, but it is acceptable because there are not many people. Service is generally acceptable.

It is a ryokan that is very close to the seaside. Right at the sunset viewing point. Simple. Ok onsen bathhouse. Exit the train station and walk to the left for about 15 minutes.

A very cozy Japanese-style hot spring hotel. The breakfast is delicious, including grilled scallops and eggs. The hot spring temperature is also very moderate. There are free coffee and tea breaks. Highly recommended.

Overall, it's very good. The meals provided by the hotel for one stay and two meals are very delicious. Dinner was served in the room and breakfast was served outside in the restaurant; the staff were lovely.
But the hotel is a little far away from the station. Fortunately, the hotel sent a car to take us to the station on our return trip.
