This place has a very special style - it's not luxurious but practical and nice. The location is good if you want to stay near the historical centre (which is not the nicest area of the town) - it's very close but a bit to the side which makes it more quiet. However, the hotel is on a steep hill, so vehicles make a lot of noise climbing it, and in the nights there are events somewhere near, and the music can be heard well. I liked the scenery towards the morro and the see, it felt like being in a tower. My apartment was spacious and had a lot of light even if I had some curtains closed. The kitchen is quite good and there are many kinds of kitchen utensils, so one could do a lot of cooking. I didn't but it was nice to have a good fridge. There were several chairs in the apartment but none of them was very good for sitting and reading, so that was the main handicap for me. The owner is very helpful and gave me some brochures about the town and the area.
