We asked for a handicapped accessible room, which we were given. However, the bed was so high that my husband needed help getting on to it. Thank God he is not in a wheelchair. There is no way he could have gotten onto the bed. From what we were told, the height of the bed is company policy??? What a shame as it is close to my daughters college and we would have stayed there many more years thru her 4 years there. Back to the Microtel where they have normal beds!!

I stopped by it due to my car's breakdown. Therefore, I had no choice but to stay there for a day.
It was a bit old, but the service was perfect.
If you have to stay there, it can be an option for you.

Unfortunately the images posted on the website are way too different than the actual room we got. The bed was terrible, the room was tidy but not spotless. The bathroom was completely out of the basics, such as shampoo and conditioner, and we were short on towels. The front desk reluctantly gave us more when we asked.
The food was average, typical hotel food, fresh, offering several breakfast choices.
Personally we would not recommend this hotel, and in the future will go with Hampton Inn.

This is exactly the type of hotel I’m always looking for, not too expensive but has amenities like free breakfast, comfy bed with nice pillows, seating area and desk in the room. The bathroom has the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash attached to the shower wall, which I like too. Also, short drive into town and easy to take the back roads into Alfred from that location, but no places are walkable, like places to eat.

The hotel was right next to the family I came to visit. I didn't like the smallness of the bathroom or that the sink was hard to turn off.

The property wasn’t up to our standards with cleanliness or service. I would stay there again if I didn’t have other options, but it’s definitely not worth the price we paid.

The hotel was clean and orderly on the outside and inside. The receptionist was very nice and welcoming. Our room was as described, very clean. The pool area was nice. Breakfast was very good. There were two issues: the beds were very firm and there are railroad tracks nearby. The trains sounded their horn a few times through the night as they passed through. I'm a light sleeper so these things bothered me but I still think this hotel was really nice.

Upon check-in the person at the desk checked us in under the wrong reservation. the night manager woke us up at 11:30pm to correct the problem. The room smelled like dirty dog. The floor looked like it wasn't vacuumed, old candy wrapper and other stuff on the carpet. The desk looks like it was wiped with a dirty rag. Upon check out, I was passed off to three different people to try and find out if my credit card was charged for the other room. I was told no but they never could totally guarantee it wasn't. This hotel is probably the worst BW we ever stayed at.
