A real piece of rubbish. We start with the fact that they don't answer emails until you request them, the check-in takes forever and you have to fill out all the forms yourself. You have to do everything through an app that you have to install on your mobile, which works "sometimes".
One of the blackout blinds stopped working. The receptionist came at night and broke it, while he was having private conversations on his other phone with a person who kept calling him and ended up speaking rudely to him. Obviously, this was at 1 AM and the option of calling maintenance was no longer viable.
Breakfast is for taking photos but the last thing you want to eat in the morning. If you want a sad juice or even sugar, it seems that you have to beg for it.
They tell you that there is no TV so that it is a space for relaxation but they force you to be glued to a mobile. But of course, it's cheaper to put in a 180 euro record player than a 1000 euro television.
There is no shower gel or shampoo, just a bar of soap, which, combined with the design of the shower, makes it seem like you're in a prison.
And I could go on... as with the mould in the pool, which makes you not want to swim in it.
In short, it seems like a luxury hotel but it's not even a cheap pension.

Wow, wow, wow! The hotel is amazing, the room is beautiful, and every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The staff is incredibly friendly and hospitable. The entire experience is exceptional, or as their slogan says, "NOT ORDINARY." The location is just 15 minutes from the city center, and I highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was outstanding! All the communication with the reception via whats app, the app to turn on and off the AC and lights makes it also very special .

From the second the reception team opened the door to welcome us in, through welcome drinks, five star app to navigate hotel services and room access, to authentic Greek food and warm welcome. Came to see Puressence and this hotel really put the cherry on top!

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The staff was rude and unwelcoming, and the property is tucked away in a remote, dingy part of Athens. Service was nonexistent—we arrived to an empty reception desk—and the rooms were filthy, appearing untouched for years. As someone who has stayed in over 300 hotels, I can confidently say this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Avoid this property at all costs. This is big "NOT" for me!!

Nice interiors, a beautiful inner yard with trees and blooming flowers. But: Poor food quality, there’s loud party noise from the neighboring streets, the front desk staff were rude and unwelcoming, lacking hospitality. The 5-star rating is highly questionable.

My wife and I experienced a fabulous time at this remarkable establishment. The rooms are very spacious, ambient, and very tastefully decorated with beautiful art and outstanding books in English that would benefit any traveller to Athens. All the amenities were high tech and also afforded standard means, such as a key, for those who are uncomfortable opening their doors, window blinds, air conditioners with an app. The free breakfast platter menu was outstanding that also provided a la carte options for all tastes without added cost. There’s also an outstanding menu for other excellent meals that are reasonably priced. The bar is also totally stocked with all drinks. The very caring staff was the friendliest we have ever encountered anywhere in a hotel! The hotel is also very significant in its great aesthetic and historical appeal and yet fully modernized for even the most discerning of travellers. We will be back again at this very same and outstanding establishment! The location is outstanding! The Parthenon, Hadrian’s Library and both the Greek and Roman agoras are just 12-15 walking minutes away from the hotel.

Loved this hotel and would certainly return. A lovely attention to detail with quality furnishings and linen etc. Service was excellent, very friendly and overall a really nice atmosphere. The internal courtyard garden is beautifully planted and when we were here the jasmine was flowering, so the scent outside our room was lovely. On the second night we stayed there was a complimentary BBQ on the roof terrace with great traditional music. The chef Angela is excellent and is really passionate about food. All in all it was a wonderful experience where the hospitality was generous and welcoming. Not like a hotel more like an urban retreat providing an oasis in the city.
