They use multiple fragrances throughout the hotel which were far too strong and immediately made me feel ill. My friend said exactly the same and in hotel I asked other guests what they thought to which they all replied it was a bit much. Honestly, I couldn't care how good the hotel is if you use that much toxic synthetic fragrances it's cheap as its clear you're covering up other smells which just means cleaning standard is not effective. Unnecessary and I hope this makes management rethink the unsustainable practice of polluting the air more than it already is.

Located in the heart of Athens between Akropolis and Syntagma Square it is in a perfect location to cultural explore, go for shopping as well as arrange business meetings. Many restaurants and coffee places, all in walking distance. Main reason to choose Elia Ermou was the room size as it is 20+ sqm, and it has a parking garage in the same building. Further to mention is the nice roof top restaurant in the 7th floor with terrace and Akropolis view. One minor issue to mention is if a little more silence is required a room on the higher floors and not on the Ermou side might be the better choice… Overall verdict, being a globally experienced traveler, 5 stars !
