Athenian Residences

What a surprise! Didn't realized we had a whole apartment. Old world charm vs. modern conveniences. What more could you ask for!

We visited Athenian Residences for one night before our sailing vacation. It was a very nice experience. We didn't have time for the pool sadly. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The scenery from the window wasn't the best. We liked the restaurant selection near the Hotel very much! Overall Athenian Residences is a very good Hotel. Consider visiting!

Our family of five recently stayed at the Athenian Residences and we cannot praise it highly enough. Dimitris couldn't have been more helpful. Fantastic communication, lots of super helpful local information and always going over and above. The breakfast was insanely huge and delicious, delivered promptly to your door when requested. The apartment was spotlessly clean, refilled daily and had every everything we needed and more. The Residences are located in a quiet street only one street from a fun, busy location and 5 minutes from the heart of the city in Monastiraki Square. If you are looking for a functional, central base with friendly staff in Athens this is the one for you. Thanks, team!

We stayed in a family room, which was huge, including 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms and showers, walk- in wardrobe, fully equiped kitchen and a balcony. The room was very clean, quiet (although in the middle of the noisy Psiri), with all the needed amenties. Dimitris, the owner, welcomed us, made sure we have everything we need, and made sure everyday that it continues like that. Breakfast is delivered to the room from the nearby coffe shop according to iur selection from the menu. All satff members were very friendly and helpful. They also arranged for us transport from and to the airport and the communication with them was fast and easy. To summerize, highly recommended stay in a great location in Athens.

We had the most wonderful stay in Athens thanks to Dimitris and the Athenian Residences. The neighborhood/location is fantastic and very safe. Easy walking distance to all the sites. The local restaurants nearby are fabulous. We made Athenian Residences our home base in Athens before and after traveling to the islands, and they were so great with arranging taxis for us to and from the airport and port. Both rooms we stayed in were spotless, with comfortable beds and amazing breakfasts in the morning. I would highly recommend this gem to anyone who would like to visit Athens. Thank you!

We stayed here for 4 nights in early July with a teenager and a 4 year old and had a fantastic time. The hotel was in a great location just 5 minutes to the ancient agora, Monastiraki square and 15 from the acropolis (20 with a toddler!). Athens was hot and a central location like this was worth anything, don’t underestimate how much the heat will slow you down so being central is a must. The pool was lovely to cool off in and our kids really enjoyed it. The apartment was ideal with a separate bedroom and equipped with a kitchenette and a balcony. The breakfast was from a local restaurant and we had a variety of juices, Greek yogurts, fruit, pastries which was lovely to have at the apartment as we got ready for the day and was delivered promptly at the time requested. What really stood out though was the people and how Joanna really went out of her way to ensure we were enjoying our stay. Just a note on the Tv (as I saw the previous review before I posted), the TV was broken when we arrived and they were in the process of replacing it. They still let us check in early and let us use the room while they did this. Thank you Joanna for making our stay in Athens so special and we hope to visit again some time in the future.
