This motel is one step away from being condemned. We joked at the time that even the fleas had left. This once proud facility is central to the CBD but has seen much better days. Windows are riveted shut, no plugs for the sinks, dirty kitchen and fittings falling apart. We would not have stayed if the trip had not been urgent. Given the prices, there are much better options if you take the time to search.

The owner and parent company Hotel KDM is akin to a heartless, greesy snake. I booked at Ascot Epsom Motel and the company has no moral compass. What kind of a company doesn't have any empathy for loss mother and decline cancellation? Hotel KDM. I asked day before and no answer. Only after I left a voice message the next day that I can't make it, did I get a delayed response, no refund. Only to presumably rent the room out to someone else knowing I am now on the other side of the world. About as low as you can go.

The unit was so unsanitary, walls, everything dirty. Felt very unsafe. Door lock needed screwing back on. My car was ruined by large bird poop on the bonnett. Cost me $20 to clean. Should get a refund.

Just a bit disappointed on arrival..We were surpised how run down the unit was, as it didn't look like the advertising we had seen. Considering how full the complex was, they should invest money into doing it up. TV and plugs didn't work, toilet looked like a new seat required, but the staff were pleasant enough. Might be time to double glaze, the traffic noise, not their fault, was insane.
