We had a nice stay for 2 nights. The location is ideal for visiting the surroundings. Lovely garden. Spacious and clean rooms. The staff was friendly, specially Sandun, our room keeper, who made a marvellous composition with towels and flowers

We stayed 2 nights at Oak Ray Elephant Lake Hotel Habarana.we really enjoyed spending time in this magnificent hotel. All of the staff is amazing and served us really great. And our room boy Hashan Siriwardhana is a great artist. He has decorated our room wonderfully. After all we can say that it was a wonderful time !

The keeper of our room was HAsHAN, very nice, always smiling and helpfull man. The reporter fault in the room(sink failure in the bathroom), was immediately fixed. After returning to the hotel after an intensive Day, a pleasant suprise awaited for Us in the room, beautiful decoration on rhe bed, prepared by Hashn. The stay in that hotel was very pleasant. Thank you !!

Room very cmfortable housekeeping by Hashan great.Food tasty and to suit all tastes .pool large clean andcool with attentive staff.We stayed at this hotel 2 nights while ontour.Allstaff very polite aand friendly.Enjoyed our stay.

We had a very nice stay for 2 nights here. Our driver booked the hotel for us so we didn’t really know what to expect but when we arrived we had a really nice surprise in our room since we are on our honeymoon. Ashen and the other personnel provided us a great service and the hotel had everything we needed. Thank you Elephant Lake Hotel!

This resort is ideal for leisure days; the management is incredibly friendly. Our anniversary stay was made special with a beautifully arranged room, excellent food, and a delicious cake. Overall, it's a serene and beautiful place to visit

First of all need to say that we had a mixed experience, and we believe that the negatives I have mentioned here might be specific to us only and hope the others would not have experienced the same, while I think the positives are quite general for a common guest. We stayed two nights. Positives - The staff is extremely friendly and to be franked I haven't seen such friendliness in anywhere else I have travelled. (Special mentioning of Hiruni at the reception/Keerthi at the pool, Ranga who was the porter and Ruchira/Danuka/Dinuka who were stewards at the restaurant. - Food was OK. (expected for the rates they offered) - Rooms were very spacious. - Location is convenient (on the main road itself) - Very nice pool with depth ranging from 2 ft to 6 ft - Very good water pressure in the shower Negatives - The bathtub at the room was not operating (it would have been great at least to keep us informed when we checked in) - There were neither safety box nor a minibar (no refrigerator even) though they have mentioned this as basics under Deluxe category. Again, we were OK if this was mentioned to us at the reception. - Bit of a disturbance to the privacy as the rooms are very closely located Suggest having a second curtain (thin) behind the main curtain at the front side window as we felt difficult to keep the thick curtains open. Overall, it was a pretty good property which I can recommend as a best option for the rates they charge.
