Our stay at Mondi Hotel was the perfect family ski vacation. We stayed 4 nights and skii'd at Axamer Lizum. First hotel: Good size room with kitchenette for family of 4. Breakfast included. Parking easy. Located in small town outside of Innsbruck - easy access for groceries, restaurants and quick to drive to Innsbruck. Good sauna and pool to use after skiing! Skiing: Free bus to Azamer Lizum just down street. Ski hill is ＜10 minutes from hotel. Makes it very quick and easy! Would stay here again and enjoyed a winter vacation at Hotel Mondi

We stayed on June 21, 2023. After checking in, we found the hotel has no air-conditioning. When inquired, the manager advised us to keep the balcony door open ( windows are sealed). We could not sleep because the room was stuffy and invaded by flies. We slept by midnight only to be awakened by birds ay 4 a.m. It was a restless night. I will never stay in the B&B Hotels.

Very nice resort, with excellent facilities. Good location according to Innsbruck sightseing and to Axamer Lizum skying area access (both easily accessible by free bus); close to pleasant skitouring areas, like Sellrain area (20 - 30 min.)

This could be a lovely hotel. I’m sure it often is, but for us, sadly we just didn’t get to see it. Firstly, we received an email to say there was a large group of young people staying so it might be a little louder. We rather naively assumed this would be a school group but it was a group of older teens who spent until 4am playing music, running about the corridors , shrieking and banging on doors. We chose not to confront them as we didn’t speak their language so just too awkward. We did make the hotel aware by email but no response to this. What we were not advised about, was that the large group meant there was no restaurant available for dinner. Axams has next to nothing in it so to have no restaurant was not helpful. Thankfully the Hotel Kogele were accommodating and provided a delicious dinner. The room is nicely maintained although had old food in the fridge on arrival. A selection of random plates and glasses (presumably brought up from the breakfast room) went with a hob and kettle making it a useful little base for a busy day. The team were responsive when we asked for clean towels. We only needed them because the room was not cleaned on our second day and so the towels were not changed. The weather was not good enough to dry and reuse our towels unfortunately. If you are booked to stay there then this hotel is ok. It’s fine. Basic, but fine. If you are warned of a group I strongly recommend you make use of any cancellation option you have and go elsewhere.

A typical Austrian style. Beautiful hotel in an old style. Very good welcome and friendly and welcoming staff. A region to discover absolutely. The restaurant very good and good. Compliant value for money. Free parking.

We stayed at the Mondi for a weekend. Unfortunately not the relaxation we would have liked. "Here the boss cooks herself!". That's true, but unfortunately all other tasks are neglected. - Hotel very dingy - dusty everywhere - rooms dusty, in the toilet there are still remains of the meeting from the previous guest! - Breakfast buffet poor and not very appetizing, coffee machine dirty, plates not clean, chairs full of crumbs, cleaning lady only brought the rag with her as an alibi That brings us to the staff, which is almost non-existent. Boss is nice and courteous but unfortunately also hopelessly overwhelmed. Pool is a joke, in no way corresponds to the photos. We didn't even look at the sauna. We were in Telfes in the Stubay Bad. Everything was fine there. Although: we wanted to swim in the hotel, because that's what we booked 4 stars for. All in all not worth a second visit. It's a pity really, because something could really be done with the location.

Totally outdated, shabby facility. Rooms small, mini-much unusable. Balconies totally dirty (bird droppings, etc.), carpets and furnishings ancient. The whole house is not a 4 star hotel but a maximum of 2 stars.

Hotel all'apparenza carino, esteticamente bello. Si trova fuori Innsbruck, in una borgata sulle montagne. Posizione e panorama molto belli. La camera sporca, come anche la sala colazione e la sala per la cena. Abbiamo cenato in hotel, modesta ma discreta. Il personale dell'hotel mai in divisa, a me non piace!

Leider sehr enttäuschend entspricht nicht annähernd der hotelkategorie wie angegeben. Leihenhaft renoviert. Preisleistung unbefriedigend. Hygiene lässt zu wünschen übrig. Pool ist da aber das war es auch schon mit positiven. Sehr hellhörig
