I went on a solo trip to visit a friend and stayed at the Amethyst. It feels and looks newly built and the rooms are all very modern and clean. But you can get that anywhere. What you can't get at other places is the team. I never bonded so well with any hotel team before. The animator guy, Laslo is the best of the best. Super funny and welcoming. He made me feel right at home. He organised different activities every evening. (Fire Show, Acrobatic Dance show, karaoke, bingo, killer pool, darts, etc.) There was never a dull a moment. The people behind the bar were also super nice. Yiannis Constantino and Marcos were all super friendly, and we had a nice chat about life. By the way, Yiannis makes the best iced coffee I've ever had 😃 I also used the Spa and there was a Lebanese Masseuse, who was also brilliant (with 17 years of experience) I didn't catch his name, like the others, but it doesn't change the fact, that I had an awesome stay at this hotel. Next time, I book a longer time. Thanks for everyone, and I hope the hotel treats these employees really well, as they are all great.

Just returned from a week at the Amethyst hotel. We got a last minute good deal and wow was it worth it. It was our first visit to Ayia Napa. I honestly could not fault the hotel or staff in any way! . Food was plentiful and fresh, breakfast omelette’s were freshly cooked to order. There was always a roast of meat each evening and Every evening had a different food theme night. Hotel was clean and tidy, towels replaced, beds made and room cleaned every day. Pool area is stunning with plenty of sun beds. It’s around 3km into the centre of Aiya Napa, where you will find plenty of beautiful restaurants/bars and shops, the 101 bus stops 100m down the road and takes you there in around 6 stops. The 102 brings you back. 1.50 euros each way. There are also few restaurants/bars, cafes, shops near the hotel. I saw signs for 4 beaches while on the bus, we only visited the one which was 5 mins walk from the hotel. A 10 minute walk to the left of the hotel takes you to the water park. This hotel is a must for people seeking a quiet, relaxing break in the sun. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you Amethyst for a perfect stay

The hotel is located at the beginning of Ayia Napa close to the harbour with the big tower. Its our second time here and me with my friends we have a nice time. Theres a beach volley court and two big pools one of them at the spa. The food was delicious every day and we loved the hot chocolate! The hotel manager is everywhere checking if everything is ok and he is working perfect with his team. We already make a reservation for next year and we hope to have again a nice sea view room ! Thank you everyone and we see you again !

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is just outside of Agia Napa so it’s ideal if you like to be away from the nightlife. The room was a good size. Very clean, comfortable bed, kettle, safe. hairdryer not in the bathroom. It is in the bedroom next to a mirror which is better. My room didn’t have hanging space for dresses only for tops etc so my dresses got creased . I do take a small clothes steamer with me . All the rooms have a sea view. I stayed B&B. There is a good choice of food for breakfast. The service is very good. I had my evening meal at Cup Code . Good menu and service. There are a few more restaurants nearby. The pool area is a good size. Lots of sun beds. It was the start of the season so the hotel only had a few guests. There is a nice outside seating area. The reception staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The Manager is always there. He always says hello and asks how you are. I would stay here again.

One of the best hotels in Ayia napa!!! I always chose this hotel because make me to feel like home ! Very welcome staff, reception team the best! Clear rooms, very quiet and very close to the beach and the new marina! For sure I will come back….. see you soon..!!!!

Excellent hotel with spacious conference facilities and beautiful food. You can have the option for coffee in the hotel cafeteria. The rooms are quite large as well as the bathrooms. Whenever we needed the manager was there to serve us with his team , both at the conference and during our meals making sure everything was ok. Thank you very much!

This hotel is family run and it makes such a difference nothing is a bother. I can honestly say it is the best hotel in Cyprus never mind Ayia Napa. The hotel is spotless, you could eat the food off the floor it’s so clean there is lovely big pool and the food is exceptional. The rooms are lovely. All staff are friendly and professional. Rooms and everything about the hotel is superb. It has a great spa and would recommend the massage,very relaxing. It has a quieter annex across the road just 10apartments and a smaller pool, that’s were we stay peaceful and serene, you can of course use all the facilities in the main hotel. I am reluctant to tell you how lovely it is as I don’t want it spoilt but it is amazing. We have been coming to Cyprus since 1969 the people are so special if you make a friend of a Cypriot they are your friends for life. It’s such a fantastic country. We never want to go home. The hotel has everything you could possibly want to have a wonderful holiday everyone is made so welcome.

Loved it here lovely area and lovely hotel , lovely food , clean ,staff all lovely and friendly , local beaches were so nice and not far to walk , small local town. We couldn’t fault it here one of our favourite hotels we have been to . Shop just opposite hotel reasonable and lady in there was lovely . We hired a buggy out for the day just opposite hotel too . We had drive around in and we went miles . We were out all day .It is such a beautiful area will definitely be back in the future. Thanks again for making our stay so lovely x

It was our 2nd visit to the hotel and again it didn’t disappoint. We were great in the evening by the lovely receptionist, he recognized us from our 1st stay. You won’t be disappointed… beautiful surroundings, views of the sea, far enough away from the main ***** but ideally located for walking around the stunning beaches. Rooms are modern, clean and well maintained. Gorgeous artwork hang around the complex. Food is really nice with a great selection (freshly made omelettes are a must). We are going back again this year to again celebrate our wedding anniversary in July.
