Excellent location, near the San Felipe fort and a 5-minute walk from the lagoon, super clean, when you enter the room it smells very nice, and the staff is always attentive and friendly. Super recommended.

I already had the experience of knowing the Hostel, I like it and it is accessible to go to the Laguna, good service only that it needs a little maintenance, the place is highly recommended

The bad thing is that there is only one bathroom for all the rooms.

The room they gave us is very spacious with a king bed and a single bed, the mattress was a little hard and there is a lot of light coming in through the curtains, it does not block much of the outside light, and the bathroom is shared with two other rooms that They are on the same floor, and well the music from the restaurants next door although by 11:30 pm everything is quiet. But it is still worth the stay, because it is in the very center of the entire town, the garden plaza with craft stalls listed in front of the place, and the beautiful Laguna and El Fuerte, and many restaurants to eat, although I didn't like it very much the food from several restaurants that we tried, oh but Bacalar has the best Marquesitas that I have tried, recommended and the Dorilocos with esquites in another little square have several positions that are the best., but everything was actually good during our stay there, maybe if I would return again to Paw of Dog and we met the local mascot whom we called Romie, and we later learned his name was Brownie. :)

We only stayed one night. The staff is very welcoming & very smiling. The room is cute, very clean. The property is located in the center of Bacalar. I hope you meet Brownie 🐶 Bacalar is a magical place 🥰

Very spacious upstairs family room with kitchenette. Very comfortable twin beds, double bed a little dated. The hotel is well located, quiet, welcoming. The air conditioning is not powerful enough. Neither does the shower. Very good value for money.

When we arrived we realized that the place did not have a bathroom, we had to go to one that was almost black, super dirty and crowded. By word of mouth they offered to move us the next day to any one with a bathroom. Well, it wasn't possible and when I wanted to leave they expected to charge me for all the reserved nights despite the bad nature of their hotel and not use them just because they would struggle to sell them. Of course, only with misleading advertisements on the internet can you sell a room like this.
