Amanvana Spa Resort, Coorg

The resort is very beautiful and true to its name. It's like living amidst nature yet with all the comfort you can imagine. Rooms, food, service, restaurant, pool are just great. The hotel offers complimentary river trek, bird watching, nature trek and coffee plantation tour. Our naturalists Jagat and Naveen for these tours were superb and very knowledgeable. Thanks to the entire staff for making our stay so memorable

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY I’m currently staying at this property and from the moment I’ve walked in I was only wondering why is this a luxury property. I have extensively travelled in India and stayed at the best properties and this was the worst. Reasons 1. They had a group check in and so under staff that they couldn’t manage it. Washrooms felt like I was in a food court and so dirty. 2. The room is too far away from the restaurants and other activities for which the buggy takes forever to come, call them atleast 1 hour prior. 3. The buffet set up was so bad and so badly organised I felt like I was lined up for free food. Infact I was also told to go for buffet and get more discount (if I can pay the price I can offend to order) just because the seperate cooking would happen and I said a firm no for it saying only alacarte. 4. Systems didn’t work at the time of billing of the food. 5. When we left the restaurant the buggy didn’t come for 15 mins and the property has no network so there was no one waiting to even help you plus it was raining. 6. Walked in the room that was clean and very typical but again for 2 ppl there was only 1 hand towel, small bottle of shampoo and conditioner. Any property keep atleast two of each and this is a so called “luxury property” 7. No water nothing was served on arrival. 8. Super under staffed and under trained staff and infact too pressured which you can see. All are over worked and tired. I can go on and on and would only suggest that do not pick this place at any cost. It feels like 2 star property. Extremely disappointing!!

A great ambient and eco resort, great rooms which were filed with refreshments also was great staff, liked the stay and cuisine, the rooms were also cozy, also not to mention the shop in the resort was great with many varieties of coffee and chocolate

The ambiance is amazing. Mr. Krishan at the reception is such a nice guy who arranged a table outside even after it rained. The food is authentic. The riverside brings you a proper coorg vibe. Must visit resort in coorg. You also get a discount on food.

Really that was amazing stay and experience in Amanvan resort at kushalanagara. We enjoyed lot with tastey food, room cleanliness, nature walk with biologist Mr Naveen I think his name. He knows the subject lot against birds, animals, tress etc . We will come again in this year.

The resort is nicely tucked away from the hustle bustle of Coorg. It’s very easily accessible and has good amenities. For us the best part was the luxurious room with a fantastic bathroom. Amongst the amenities, the swimming pool is very inviting and walk beside Cauvery river is welcoming. The only thing which could be a bit better is the food - I don’t mean it’s bad, but it can be better ! Overall an amazing value for money for a wonderful family trip :)

Amanvana Resort in Coorg offers a serene and luxurious escape into nature's embrace. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional river trek and bird watching tour led by Naveen. His knowledge of the local flora and fauna added depth to our adventure, making it both educational and exhilarating. Naveen's keen eye for spotting rare bird species and his infectious enthusiasm truly enhanced our experience. We highly recommend Amanvana Resort for its outstanding hospitality and unforgettable nature excursions. What could be better is the food and the kitchen service. Also honest feedback is to include option of high tea in the package ***** with breakfast.

We had recently been to Amanvana with family group of 15.. The bungalows are very luxurious and the greenery around the resort is treat for our eyes and its bliss to hear bird chirping early in the morning and embrace the misty morning.”.Hospitality “ is the word that makes the resort special from the rest ..All the staff of Amanvana are always smiling and very helpful irrespective of the job profile..Food was delicious and staff was very courteous for any request made in dining area..If u want to be treated like “Royal” consider this resort I am sure u will not be disappointed..Thanking all the staff of Amanavana for making our holiday more memorable.

Happened to visit Amanvana, Coorg for the summer vacation with family. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed with excellent mini-bar too. Best part was the convertible sofa, which gave ample space for my large family. Another highlight was the open-to-sky bathtub which gave a sence of openness with adequate privacy too. All the staff were incredibly friendly from the front desk to the restaurant and nature walks. Mr. Naveen, the nature observer needs a special mention. The bird watching in the mornings and evenings were a good experience. With the temperatures running high, we did not adventure out as much except for the Dubare elephant camp and the Golden Temple, which were nearby. The facilities like the Swimming pool and Spa kept us well occupied and entertained. Have to visit this place again when the weather is a bit better.
