"This is not a hotel so if you have luggage and get in early or want to leave late, there is no where to store your luggage for free. It’s like an AirBnB without the kitchen. If you need something like a tea or coffee, there is no bar or cafe or even reception to this place. It’s just a room and a bathroom with a balcony. It looks much better in the photo. I work in Italy often and this is the worst deal I’ve ever seen. This room should not be going for over 80 euros in the peak season, especially as it’s very much in need of fresh paint. Check-in was a hassle. I needed to fill out paperwork on my phone and upload images of my ID. Somehow I had made the reservation for 2, but it was only me. They asked twice for the id of the other person, even though I told them it was only me. I got the impression they are managing a great deal of rooms at once."

"The room location was excellent and the decor was lovely, and breakfast was provided. However, when we checked in on May 1st, there was no one to help with our luggage, and we had to carry it up about 4.5 flights of stairs ourselves. The next day, the landlady arranged for someone to help us carry it down. Also, when showering in the triple room, the water was initially cold and only turned hot after a while. When I spoke to the landlady about it, she said this had never happened before. Everything else was fine."

AAndreiOBrienI absolutely loved staying here. It’s very centrally located in the old town not far from anything, this is a big and spacious apartment with beautiful views out the many balcony’s. The hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating and really looked after us during our stay.
I think the value was extremely good and we were very happy. I would 100% come back to Bari and stay here again because I thoroughly enjoyed it, there’s a tv full appliances, coffee machine, the bed is comfortable and the apartment has a lovely modern look

GGuest UserThis hotel is perfectly located for those planning to explore the region by train. It's also fine if you're driving, but parking costs €32 per day. It's clean, tidy, and very modern. Everything feels new and high-quality. Breakfast is good; nothing fancy, but it has everything you need.
Regarding the front desk, the service depends on who's on shift. When I checked in, the young man was an absolute sweetheart! Super friendly and made me feel very comfortable. The woman, however, was quite negative about my English mistakes, which I don't think is necessary. I told her I was cold in my room, and she ignored it. When checking out, I mentioned I had a package in the freezer and another in the fridge. She brought just one from the freezer. I clarified that there was also one in the fridge, and then she brought the second. Dear employee, a little more warmth and hospitality would be appreciated. If working with different people isn't your thing, maybe consider another profession?
Nonetheless, the hotel impressed me. I haven't seen such a modern hotel in Italy for a very long time, and the price was fair. The beds are super comfortable! The mattresses and pillows are amazing. One suggestion: make it possible to set the AC temperature a little higher for heating, and address the issue where the AC turns off as soon as you remove the key. This means that when you return in cold weather, the room takes a very long time to warm up. Also, because of this, slippers in the room would be great, as the floor gets icy cold. Despite these minor issues, I would happily return. This hotel is one of the best in Bari!

UURALKAWe liked the room very much. This is a flat, divided into several rooms. Registration is independent but very understandable.
Beautiful view from the window. Very clean. A cosmetic set and slippers are offered.
Only the hoods 😊 are missing.
Daily cleaning! There is a coffee machine, a teapot, coffee capsules. Everything is. There are grocery stores, cafes, bars, old city!
The shower needs a shelf for gel, and a hook for towels. The mattress, for soft.
It 's not 5*, it 's a good level 3* Room!

TTTTTTTeddyXXXXXXThe hotel is conveniently located, very close to the train station and on Bari's busiest pedestrian street, but the soundproofing is good so it's fairly quiet. Learning from the previous two experiences, this time I contacted the merchant a few hours in advance to submit the self-service check-in and get the password. I had a breakfast voucher, but I didn't take it because I had to catch a bus the next morning.

MmlenitskayaStayed here for a night while traveling from Bari to Matera. Small room but very clean. Location didn’t matter for us, but around there is everything you might need. The service was great , very helpful. The breakfast is simple : coffee, juice and croissant in the cafe nearby.

Sò che sono stati davvero bene in questo appartamento in Puglia! La casa era pulita, ordinata e dotata di tutto il necessario per una vacanza senza pensieri. La posizione è ottima: tranquilla ma comoda per raggiungere le principali attrazioni della zona. Un punto in più va all’accoglienza: i padroni di casa sono stati gentilissimi, disponibili e ci hanno fatto sentire subito a nostro agio. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca un soggiorno rilassante e ben organizzato!

Recently, there are more and more cases where apartments are used as accommodation, and the owners live in a different location.
Some accommodations are cutting costs too much.
Even when we contacted them, there were times when we had trouble over the phone, as the guests came from abroad and did not have sufficient language skills.
Also, even when guests arrived at the front door, they were made to wait an unnecessarily long time for the owner or their agent to arrive.
Since then, I have made it a rule to choose accommodations that have a proper reception, even if they are a little more expensive.
Guests arrive tired.
I hope that the number of accommodations with excessive costs does not increase too much.
