Dar D'or Fes - Riad in Fes A charming, traditional Moroccan-style riad. We found the place quite easily; we rang the doorbell and were greeted by a woman. She quickly checked us into a small, air-conditioned room on the second floor. About the room: This class of room was quite small but more than adequate for an overnight stay. The bed linen was clean, the internet good, and the room had everything needed for a comfortable stay (a small safe, hangers, a good shower, hot water, bedside tables, and outlets). In true traditional style, two windows overlooked the riad's inner courtyard, and another window faced the narrow street of the Medina. Overall, the location is very good, with cafes, shops, and fast-food places nearby. If you're coming by taxi, be prepared for very narrow streets, so you might have to walk a short distance. I'd like to specially thank the owner of this place because we asked for a small refrigerator, and they were accommodating and provided one. Also, a big thank you to the staff member named Yousef, who prepared us a good breakfast and politely offered advice and answered our questions. Overall, it's a good place, well-maintained and clean (only the floor in the room was a bit dirty, which I discovered after lifting my foot). Thank you for the coziness; it's a good place.

The stairwell is relatively narrow, and the waiter will help carry the luggage upstairs. The room hygiene, especially the bathroom, is more general and the stains are obvious. The mattress and quilt are very comfortable and sleep well. The breakfast looks very rich, you know, it is actually bread, jam, juice mint tea. The owner and staff love to interact.

The riad's meticulously adorned courtyard with gentle tricking of water from the fountain, swaying green trees and intricate tile work serves as a peaceful sanctuary from the bustling city outside. Our 2 day stay was nothing short of enchanting. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, adorned with traditional Moroccan decor with modern amenities, provided a luxurious retreat after a day of exploration. The staff always attentive with insightful recommendations, made all the difference to our stay. Riad Algila truly embodies the essence of Moroccan hospitality offering a respite of calm and beauty amidst the vibrant tapestry of Fes.

Facilities: The rooms are quite large for a riad, living up to their suite designation. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are bright. The common areas are truly stunning in Fès, worth a visit and photo opportunity, considering this 700-year-old building is truly breathtaking. However, since it's recently renovated, there's no need to worry about aging. The furniture and other amenities are made of exquisite materials, even featuring mother-of-pearl inlay. I stayed on a hot day, and the air conditioning in my deluxe room wasn't working properly, so I was upgraded to a family suite (all other room types were fully booked, demonstrating its popularity). Cleanliness: Clean and tidy, meeting five-star standards in the rooms, common areas, and restaurant. Ambience: The pictures show how beautiful the common areas are, with the mosaic walls, courtyard, greenery, and chairs all showcasing their craftsmanship. The hotel is located in the heart of the old city, about a 15-minute walk from the parking lot. The hotel is also easy to find, as it's surrounded by alleyways. Remember to look for the hotel sign on the walls. Service: Overall, the service was excellent. The hotel staff were very welcoming. The breakfast was plentiful, and dining on the terrace offered unique views of the old city. However, the luggage transfer staff were not hotel employees, so you had to pay a separate fee (they worked hard to earn their fees, so paying them was fine; just contact the hotel in advance). Overall, highly recommended!

My stay in Fez was truly memorable, thanks to the warmth and professionalism of Hager, the manager. We arrived later than planned, reaching the property at 11 p.m. instead of the expected 9 p.m., yet Hager welcomed us with kindness and patience, making us feel completely at ease despite the late hour. That first impression set the tone for the entire stay. Hager was also incredibly accommodating with breakfast. She kindly arranged breakfast earlier than the usual start time, and it was a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast — fresh, generous, and beautifully prepared. It was one of the highlights of the stay and a perfect way to start the day. At the time of leaving Fez, I had arranged my transport independently, but the situation did not go as planned and became stressful. When Hager became aware of this, she went out of her way to help, reassured me, and kindly allowed me to stay at the property during the unexpected delay. The property is perfectly located in the heart of the medina, offering an authentic Fez experience while remaining peaceful and comfortable. The room was clean, well-maintained, and felt welcoming after long days of exploring. What truly stood out was the genuine care and hospitality throughout the stay. Hager’s calm, thoughtful, and supportive approach made a real difference and reflects the high standards of this place. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Fez — not just for the location and comfort, but for the exceptional hospitality you’ll experience here.

Service de navette pour et de l’aéroport proposée par l établissement: assez pratique lorsqu’on arrive tard comme nous. Facturé 25€ (250 dirhams)inclus la majoration de 5€ pour service nocturne. Chambre propre et literie confortable Salle de bain très petite, douche sans bac, l eau coule directement sur le sol et l’eau met pas mal de temps à s écouler par le syphon: pas trop pratique si vous êtes pressés et que vous devez prendre votre douche l un après l’autre rapidement . Le support de pommeau de douche cassé, il fallait le tenir à la main Produits d hygiène a ramener, shampooing non fourni ( difficile quand on voyage avec bagage en cabine pour 2-3 jours) Service de petit déjeuner basique, dommage pour certains produits commerciaux ( olives noires et fromage quiri ) Crepe et brioche préparé sur place, elles étaient très bonne Emplacement parfait , juste à côté d un de suq de la vieille médina Pour manger il y a plein de restos sur place mais ils sont relativement chers car on est en zone touristique Ne pas hésiter à aller manger dans la ville nouvelle, on y va avec taxi pour 2€ par trajet (4€ a/r) Attention: l hôtel affirme accepter la carte bancaire mais nous n avons pas pu régler 170dirham(17€) par carte car commission trop importante . Que les montants élevés sont acceptés ( à prendre en compte si vous payez en fin de séjour et que vous avez l’argent compté) Wifi gratuit , terrasse sympa mais dommage ne pas y pouvoir prendre le petit dej Dans l ensemble séjour agréable et rapport qualité prix correcte

設施：淋浴間特別大，洗澡特別爽，總體來説比較古色古香，絕對不能説得上狠心，唯一的缺點是網絡真的很差很差，基本等同於沒有網……扣的分基本是扣給了網絡很差這件事情 衞生：非常乾淨 環境：在一大堆巷子裏面找路其實有點困難，路上有摩洛哥人幫忙指路，竟然還索要的小費，但是店主把他們關在門外了，我們沒有給小費。環境非常清幽，泳池的庭院也太好看，太好拍照了！ 服務：服務特別好，入住的時候會給你泡綠茶，而且會問你早餐想吃什麼，所有摩洛哥的風味都能吃到！

Great stay overall. The location is perfect, right inside the medina. The room was very clean and the air conditioning worked very well. Breakfast was rich and very tasty. The only small issue was that the hot water was a bit limited, so showers need to be quick, but the water temperature was good. What really impressed us was how kind the host was. We had to leave early on our second day and could not stay for breakfast, so he prepared a takeaway breakfast for us. It was packed very carefully and was perfect for the road. We were very touched by this kindness. Highly recommended! 位置很好，就在medina里面，房间干净，空调效果好，早餐丰富好吃。唯一的小不足是热水稍微少一点，但水温很好。 特别感谢店主，因为我们要早走，专门帮我们准备了打包早餐，非常细心和热心，让人很感动。非常推荐！

If you’re staying in Fes, I recommend you stay here. Staff are super friendly and helpful, room clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself as a great traditional Moroccan feel. Mohammed et al. made us feel very welcome. The location is great, walking distance from medina mazes. Brilliant stay and enjoyed Fes very much.

The contact person is so nice that helped us arrange city tour and transport to another city. Even though we had to leave at 8, which was not the breakfast timeslot, the house keeper prepared food for us to take away. We had so much fun here.
