Bali Diamond (Adults Only)

Absolutely first class Cretan hotel, clean, friendly, and great water front location. The staff were so friendly, and the rooms spotless! Great location to explore Crete, and not too far from Heraklion airport. April was a great time to go before it got busy, and 24 degrees C!

Modern small hotel (20 rooms?) in a really good setting. Great sea views, next to the beach, no passing traffic, extensive free breakfast, a bar, very friendly and helpful staff, two small pools, no children . Spotlessly clean and everything works! (Not always the case in Greece!) Bali has four beaches within easy walking distance and at least a dozen restaurants. Everyone is very friendly and the whole village is hassle free.

Hotel seems brand new, very clean and modern. Has two pools and beach access surrounded by amazing volcanic cliffs. Delicious selections for breakfast every morning. Staff was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Many choices for shopping and eating in the secluded little village. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

My partner and I stayed at the Bali Diamond Hotel for 10 nights in the first week of May 2023. We had a fantastic time (despite the weather) and really enjoyed the warm welcome and friendliness of everyone at the Bali Diamond. The view from our room (103) was fantastic - and we've missed it ever since we got home! The rooms are extremely comfortable, with huge showers and a mini fridge for the all important cold beverages. There is also tea and coffee making facilities (but bring your own tea bags). Breakfasts are plentiful and tasty. The pool area is very clean and well kept. The water was unfortunately too cold during our stay as was the sea...! There's a bar on the ground floor and they also stock Cretan Craft ale. Definitely try the IPA. While there, I planned a surprise proposal and Ewa and the team helped me with the arrangements, including decorating our room with flowers, wine and rose petals for when we returned from the restaurant. My partner was very impressed (and she said 'Yes'!). It's hurting me to write this review as selfishly, we want this little gem to remain a hidden one!

We stayed at the Bali Diamond for 7 nights, and would highly recommend it for couples who want a relaxed child free hotel. The hotel is about 10 steps from the beach and has a very modern feel. All staff were excellent and we have already spoken about a return trip next year.

Cracking Adults only hotel. Good things 1. Lovely clean hotel 2. Staff very friendly 3. Rooms had a nice view, very clean. Cleaned each day. 4. Towels for room and blue towels for the beach. 5. Breakfast was excellent, filled us up, huge choice, fresh and tasty. 6. Pool was excellent, with a lovely view. Clean and inviting. 7. Always sun loungers available. 8. Only 20m from the beach/sea. 9. Nice tavernas either side, all served well priced food. 10. Reception manned and helpful. Not quite so good 1. We were dropped by airport transfer in the early hours on a road at the top of the hotel. It took us a while to find reception which is about five floors down. 2. Steps, from our room to the beach exit was 97 steps! This became a chore as the week wore on. There are some lift, but they are slow and do not connect all floors. There were rooms above us. 3. The toilet in our room was constantly flowing water, we told the maid/cleaner who tried to fix it, but broke it. We reported this but had a non working/flushing toilet for our last two days. We used a bin to pour water down the toilet. When we reported this again we were told it would be fixed for ‘the next’ guests! A shame as this slightly spoiled our holiday.

This is a minimalist hotel, no frills. The front and back staff are excellent. A special mention to Eva on reception who went above and beyond- fantastic. Everyone is helpful and super friendly. The breakfast could have been a wider choice especially with some fresh fruit aside from watermelon. Was just hoping for a bit more in that area. The hotel is clean, bedding and towels change every 3 days, could do with some extra towels. All of this pales as the staff are brilliant

Stayed here in August 2023 for ten days-had the most fantastic holiday. The hotel is clean, well-equipped and welcoming, and the staff are amazing-very friendly, can’t do enough to help, and genuinely sad to say goodbye (got hugs from several of the staff 😊) Literally twenty steps from the front door of the hotel to the sea, nice little beach, always busy but great for swimming. The hotel has two pools on different levels, a very shallow paddling pool, great to sit in and read, and the deeper main pool, which is lovely to swim in. Not many Sun loungers, but never struggled to get one. The rooms are really well designed, had a smart TV and air con, plus a fridge in the room. Very high standards of cleanliness. No noise at all at night, so really restful holiday. A decent number of really nice restaurants nearby, and the hotel itself serves lovely food from the bar. Would definitely recommend staying here, and will definitely return
