Really good apar**ents. But it's the slowest Wi-Fi in the world. Normally worked only in lobby

The hotel is nice and cheap. Big swimming pool. wifi is weak but if you stay 3 months you can ask for a dedicated line.

The bathroom is flooded, the room is moldy and dusty, the surrounding facilities are in a mess, the balcony door cannot be locked, and I dare not turn off the light when I sleep at night. I only stayed for one night and quickly escaped. Very bad experience.

I never like to write reviews, so that everyone can avoid lightning, let me tell you, don’t be greedy for cheap, this is a hotel apar**ent, the decoration is very old, the environment in the apar**ent is a mess, no slippers are provided, and there is a musty smell in the bathroom. We are the first When the day arrived, I didn’t book a hotel in advance, so I left for one night and fled the next day. Many of them are long-term renters. I inquired about the two-room hotel for about RMB 7K a month, so don’t treat it as a hotel.

The place is sad, dirty, infested, old, smelly. I spent hundreds of dollars in cleaning products, bought bedsheets and towels and still couldn’t feel comfortable enough. This place has been neglected by the owners and the staff is not at fault. They clean with water because they don’t have cleaning products, they try to fix broken appliances that are beyond repair. All elevators have been temporarily closed for months now. They don’t care. Found a rat in our place already. In North America this would be a Motel at best. Think of it as such. I recommend you not to book it, you’re up for major disappoin**ent. It is in extreme bad shape and I wish if reported the government would care but unfortunately they will not. Shame to all booking sites that still promote this hotel. My kids got skin rushes and one of my kids ear infection because the pool water is dirty. Never cleaned. People come from outside the hotel to swim, no problem.

The biggest scam ever!! Mold in the rooms, dirty bed sheets, dirty surfaces every where. We wanted to cancel our booking and get our money back but the staff here are so rude and non-service minded so we didn’t get a penny back. The worst hotel experience ever. I wouldn’t go back even if someone paid me to do it.

The property and WOTIF falsely advertise the property. There was no roof top restaurant, bar or room service. I was given a 2 bedroom apar**ent. The kitchen had no crockery, cutlery or cleaning equipment and the sink and tap area were not clean. The bathroom had towels that were old, stained, thin, small and of poor quality. There was no soap provided in the bathrooms. The bedrooms were adequate but again, there sheeting and covers were stained and main bed was very hard. There was no air conditioning in the main living areas but had it in the bedroom which was loud. One of the female reception staff was rude and was unhelpful when I needed assistance - she advised me that she was not obligated to help me. I had to go to reception to ask about wifi and internet connection. I was given a password but was unable to connect to the wifi. Overall, I would not recommend Umalas Hotel and Residence and therefore requesting a refund on the property. Could somebody please call me to discuss further as this property was not up to standard. This place would be shut down and demolished for the sake the the guests health if it were up to me. The room was disgusting from floor to ceiling. The bed had urine and blood stains, the sink and shower wouldn’t drain, the A/C was covered in mold (causing my girlfriend and I to wake up feeling sick), and the walls were filthy. We deemed this place unlivable and requested a refund after the first night. The staff would not refund our money even after being presented with the health concerns and that we couldn’t even use the shower and sink. I am unsure how they receive any good reviews but it seems like a hoax to me. Don’t fall for the trap.
