The best thing about this hostel is the breakfast. You can really tell they put effort into preparing it, even if the portion is small, something many other hotels wouldn’t bother with. They also provide a water dispenser with both hot and cold water, which I find very thoughtful.
However, unlike other hostels I’ve stayed in across Thailand, I didn’t feel comfortable here. The staff seemed to have an attitude, and I didn’t feel welcomed. I don’t mind the size of the room or that the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned, but the noise was an issue. Even in a private room, you can hear heavy footsteps, people spitting at late night or early in the morning. Perhaps this is also due to the building’s configuration, but I wouldn’t recommend it for light sleepers. The blanket also had a slight smell, which wasn’t pleasant.
There are both pros and cons to this hostel, and of course, this is just my personal experience. But personally, I don’t think I would stay here again.

入住便捷性：地鐵口走一段路 在居民區裏面 要走一小段巷子不難找
安全：自己玩到半夜11點才回 雖然走一段巷子但是沒覺得不安全
設施：設施沒有我上一家住的青旅好 床比較小 房間也小 分到比較裏面的床的話 箱子打不開 但是這個價格含早也算可以了
衞生：男女生洗手間淋浴間共用 這點不是很喜歡 但是也算乾淨 二樓拖鞋進 沒帶自己的室內拖的話衹能全程光腳
環境：小居民區裏環境很安靜 但是晚上空調散熱器很吵
服務：服務挺好的 前台阿姨英文很好 會帶上樓去房間 有電梯 早餐的工作人員笑容也很親切

The bed is spacious, and the curtain bed is also provided, giving you privacy even being inside the dormitory.
Breakfast is also provided free of charge, and good news for Muslim travellers that it is Halal menu. Plus point is that the hostel is nearby Darul Iman mosque so you can get various halal food nearby the area too.
The location is nearby the public transport (Phaya Thai ARL and BTS also Ratchatewi BTS station, it just walking at the night through the alley is quite dark.
The staff are friendly and can speak in English fluently.
There's washing machine and dryer provided ( can exchange coin at the counter).
Will be coming back next time I'm in Bangkok. Thank you.

There was hot shower running, a shared microwave and fridge, breakfast includes a protein, carb, and fruit. Cornflakes and milk is available too.
There's a luggage dumbwaiter so you don't have to carry it up the stairs.
Towel and shampoo/body wash are provided, but toothbrushes and toothpastes are 20 baht each.
Staff are available on site 24/7, my plane arrived late but i could still check in at 2am.
Downside is that my curtain didn't close fully - it was missing some of the curtain hooks on one end, so i could still see what was happening outside my bed.

Absolutely a stunning hotel for budget travel.
The facilities are clean and staff are supportive.
The cell bed is cool and spaceful.
The breakfast is surprising.
But note that there are no slippers and dental kit and towel. You may need to bring them yourself.
If you mind sounds when sleeping you may need earplugs.

I want to thank all the staffs of Diff Hostel because they are so accommodating and kind to us. On our last day, they helped us to packed the breakfast because we were almost late on our flight back to Singapore (fortunately, we 2 hrs from ARL Phaya Thai until our departure was pretty tight, but we've made it). The family room, which i booked, for us 6 people, is good. It is situated on 4th floor, a bit tiresome for senior citizens that I am with, but it was still doable. They cleaned the room everyday, and changed the linen/bath towels after 2 days of our stay. The internet was also good. The room has its own toilet and shower, but every floor has it's common shower room and toilet (in cubicle form) and sinks that people can use freely..so some of us used the 4th floor common toilet and shower if some of us use the room's toilet (that's convenient). The location is indeed a walking distance to ARL phaya thai station and BTS Ratchathewi, although a bit long walk to Pratunam/platinum fashion mall. There are near 7/11 stores too so if you want to grab a quick snack or anything you need, it's a good go. My recommendation is for them to have a SIGNAGE from the front of the soi (street) so anyone can easily see it. They have a signage, but it is already inside the soi.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay in Diff Hostel and we would want to stay there again if ever we will go back to Bangkok. Thank you to trip.com as well.
