Hotel Victoria River View

I often stay here in Victoria. The access is good... middle of town, good service, good facilities, good cleanliness. The food is pretty good. The security guard is also friendly. Resting here with the family is really nice. The rooms are spacious. Make you rest well, sleep soundly.

Strategic location close to the mayor's office, culinary delights (floating restaurant / Acan chili restaurant), next to the hotel there is an Indo**ret for shopping for daily needs. If you choose a certain room type you can have a direct view of the river. Bicycle facilities are available for sight seeing. Breakfast varies, until 9.30 in front of the lobby. Kids love the riverside vibe... I booked online for a studio type, it turned out I got a non-window room, but I was allowed to upgrade the room. You can check in early, of course you have to confirm first.

The characteristic of this hotel is that it is dirty and old. In early April 2023, I stayed for 3 nights in a classic room because it had a balcony facing the river. However, the balcony with a good view towards the river looked so weak that it seemed like it might collapse, so I only went out for about 10 seconds twice. Muddy water came out of the bathroom (see photo). The curtains were very dirty, as if they had never been washed, and the white net curtains were torn vertically into 6-7 pieces. The cups provided in the room were broken here and there, and the towels were gray. The floor of the room is also full of dust. No matter how much I clean, the floor is always full of dust. The breakfast buffet dishes were not only old, but were too dirty to wash or stored so I didn't want to use them. In particular, the tap of the dispenser that provided drinking water was so dirty that I didn't want to drink the water. The staff are also very friendly. If you ever meet, say hello. However, there is no service mind. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the lobby. There are almost no mosquitoes in the rooms. The location is near the government office. About 100 meters from the hotel, there is a place that sells corn and palm trees at night. The atmosphere around the hotel is good.
