GGuest UserThis hot spring hotel, nestled halfway up the mountainside in Tengchong, boasts an unparalleled location with sweeping city views. From the misty, ink-wash painting-like scenery greeting you through the floor-to-ceiling windows each morning, to the vibrant orange and blue oil painting at sunset, the beauty is truly captivating and perfect for photos. The owners are incredibly warm and attentive. From pre-arrival communication and reception to meticulously looking after every detail during our stay, their dedication shines through. You can truly feel their passion for life. The room's layout is well-designed, but the private hot spring pool deserves the highest praise. It was diligently cleaned every day, with even the tile grout spotless. Each evening, the hot spring water was crystal clear with a faint, pleasant scent of bezoar. They even thoughtfully brought drinks and fruit to our room as soon as the water started filling. Our child enjoyed yogurt every night for three days, and impressively, no two flavors were the same – such a heartwarming touch. Breakfast was also incredibly satisfying, offering a variety of local dishes like Ersi and rice noodles, alongside side dishes, fruits, and pastries, with hardly any repetition. Our child's recurring phrase each day was, 'Next time, we're staying at this hotel again.' Overall, the experience was absolutely perfect. Thank you to the owners for their attentive and thoughtful care.

GGuest UserOur trip to Heshun Ancient Town was made truly special by choosing 'Luobai'. As the name suggests, the guesthouse exudes a sense of simple elegance and tranquil comfort. What surprised me most was the room itself, which far exceeded my expectations for ancient town guesthouses. I later learned from the owner that he personally designed and oversaw the construction of this house, which explains why you can feel the meticulous thought and ingenuity in every corner. It's not a run-of-the-mill, standardized decor, but a space filled with warmth and character. The guesthouse's ground floor houses the owner's own coffee shop. Every morning, without even leaving the building, you can smell the aroma of coffee wafting up from downstairs. Sitting by the window, sipping a pour-over, watching the bluestone paths and passersby of the ancient town – that feeling of ease was truly the most precious moment of our journey. Speaking of the owner, he's a very talkative and interesting person. You can tell he's someone who genuinely loves travel and pursuing a free spirit. Chatting with him, you'll hear many fascinating anecdotes from his travels. He'll also enthusiastically recommend many hidden gems and authentic local snacks in the ancient town that you won't find on any map, helping us avoid the crowds and gain more unique experiences. His relaxed demeanor and passion for life deeply inspired us. If you're also tired of commercialized hotels and are looking for a place with a story and warmth, a place to slow down and experience ancient town life, then 'Luobai' is definitely your best choice. It's not just a place to sleep; it feels more like a home away from home.

SSWEE KIM ONGWe are very happy to book and stay at Yunman Shanting homestay. This will be our first choice if we want to stay at Heshun Ancient Town. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast consists mainly Chinese food like noddles soup, mantou etc. The homestay provides grilled tea, fruits and walnuts for guests in the night. It was a good experience as various guests gathered around the charcoal grill for chit chat while the staff grilled the tea and fruits. Complimentary tea and coffee was provided in the nicely decorated tea and coffee room. There is a rooftop garden and terrace where guests can view the sunset and take nice photos. The location is good and convenient as cars can drive to the doorstep and park at the homestay.

GGuest UserThis hotel offers great value for money, and the service is exceptional. Every evening when I returned, I'd find tea or snacks in my room. What's more, this is the first hotel I've booked through Trip.com in years that proactively called me to arrange a complimentary airport pick-up. The location is also fantastic, right next to a pedestrian street, and not far from the city center's main walking street, perfect for an evening stroll through the night market. The hotel even provides handwritten local tips and restaurant recommendations, which is incredibly thoughtful.

EeCupNoodleWe had just spent 3 nights at this B&B and loved our stay there very much. The manager on duty, Mr Wang, picked us up from the airport. Helped us settle in. We then wandered around the ancient town, which was a very nice place to explore as well. He assisted us with booking an onsen session at another resort in the area (20-minute walk). Also helped us with booking rental car, making travel plans, booking ride to Baoshan Railway Station. He and his crew were friendly, genuinely kind, attentive, always offering to assist. Room was super comfortable. Design was simple but very nice. He designed the decor himself. Given the chance, I would love to come back and stay again (longer, hopefully).

GGuest UserWe stayed for four consecutive nights. Reasons to recommend Huajian Meisu: 1. The brand-new bath towels were clean and fluffy. Bathrobes were provided, which we used when going to the hot springs. The shower water pressure was sufficient. 2. There was underfloor heating on the first floor and central air conditioning heating on the second floor. Tengchong has a large temperature difference, so the heating made for a good night's sleep and a comfortable stay. 3. The breakfast was reasonably good, and you could adjust it to your liking. Coffee was available. 4. There was a washing machine and dryer, and the dryer's usage time was clearly marked. 5. The hotel is relatively new and has public areas (the lobby on the first floor and the terrace on the third floor). The third-floor terrace had a nice view. 6. Thank you to the owner for providing airport pick-up service and helping me arrange a twin room for the first night (because I couldn't book twin rooms for four consecutive nights, I booked one night in a double room and three nights in twin rooms). (Disadvantage: The price is a bit high)

XXjtudouThis trip was with my sister and niece! The guesthouse was conveniently located near the scenic area entrance, making it easy to get in and out! Because it was at the end of a small alley, the environment was quiet, conducive to rest! The host personally picked up and dropped off our luggage at the scenic area entrance! Breakfast was healthy and delicious every day! We ordered the rice noodles in soup every day! They were very responsive to guests' requests! Finally, I'd like to suggest they be a little more proactive in their service!

GGuest UserTengchong had always been a place I longed to visit, a place steeped in poetry and distant dreams, but the long and arduous journey had prevented me from ever making the trip. Until one day, a friend recommended the exclusive private butler service at the Three Senses Hot Spring Resort in Tengchong, and I finally set foot on this magical land. As the majestic Gaoligong Mountains and the winding Nujiang River appeared beneath the plane's wings, Tengchong, a small town nestled in a basin, unfolded before me. The Three Senses butler was already waiting at the airport, and we arrived at the hotel in less than ten minutes. We booked a two-bedroom, two-bathroom room with a living room. Inside, the room featured a Chinese-style screen, a Western-style fireplace, French-style ceilings, and American-style bedding—every detail exuded high-end luxury. The spacious and elegant living room was an ideal place for the family to enjoy tea and conversation; the two adjacent yet independent bedrooms provided each person with necessary privacy. After a day of sightseeing, you could soak in a rose petal bath or enjoy the sulfur hot spring water sourced from Rehai (Hot Sea) in your room, then drift off to sleep amidst the fragrant scent of pine trees wafting from the mountains behind the hotel! The breakfast options were plentiful, including wild mushroom rice noodles, Tengchong's specialty instant bean noodles, free-range eggs, volcanic mud sweet potatoes, freshly ground non-GMO soy milk, and a rich, steamed mixed mushroom soup. After breakfast, enjoy a cup of aromatic coffee from China's first coffee village to energize your day. The hotel's location is excellent, conveniently close to nearby attractions. Combined with Three Senses' dedicated butler service, our outings and sightseeing were incredibly easy and enjoyable. After dinner, we lit a bonfire in the backyard by the mountain, brewed a cup of the famous Lei Xiang tea, and chatted idly while listening to the rustling pines – pure bliss! The hotel's spa service is also highly recommended. The therapists are skilled, the environment is uniquely tranquil, and the sulfur spring has amazing effects, allowing for ultimate relaxation and enjoyment! Unfortunately, time was limited, and we couldn't experience Three Senses' unique travel photography, in-depth coffee village experience, or Gaoligong Mountain hiking. I love the song ”Colorful Yunnan”. Unfortunately, the song doesn't mention Tengchong. So, I can't help but add a verse: South of the colorful clouds, the westernmost place. Heroic Tengchong, its praises sung far and wide. Volcanic hot springs, vibrant and energetic. Ancient ginkgo villages, golden leaves in bloom. Boating on the West Sea, the setting sun over the East Mountain. Harmony and tranquility, peace and serenity. Come to Tengchong! Stay at San Shan. Here, let's gently brew time and slowly brew tea, practicing with San Shan: kind words, kind deeds, kind heart!

MM417710****I initially booked for two days, and it was so good that I extended my stay for another three. The hotel has a great location, and the rooms are spacious and newly renovated. Bus route 6 right outside the door goes directly to Rehai and Tengshun Ancient Town. The service was excellent; Manager Sun personally picked us up from the airport and introduced us to Tengchong's unique attractions. Whatever we needed or asked for, they were able to accommodate.

AAbubububububuyaoMy time in Heshun Ancient Town was made all the more precious by Pumi Homestay. Located near Bailian Hot Spring, the homestay boasts a large lotus pond at its entrance, with flowing water and birdsong. From the second-floor rooms, the windows offer views of black-tiled roofs and white walls against the backdrop of distant mountains, creating a tranquil and elegant atmosphere, like stepping into a paradise. The service was impeccable, with attentive care throughout from check-in to check-out. Special praise goes to Sister Qian at the front desk, who not only patiently explained the town's sightseeing guide but also proactively recommended local delicacies; her meticulous attention to detail made me feel incredibly warm. The rooms were clean and tidy, fully equipped, and thoughtfully designed. Every day here was comfortable and pleasant; I will definitely choose this place again next time I visit Heshun!
