rainbow25I prefer the tranquility and gentleness of Tengchong. It took me two days to deeply explore Heshun Ancient Town, from the hundred-year-old Shuanghong Bridge and the venerable Heshun Library to the rustic ancestral halls and ancient waterside alleys. Every scene is a healing glimpse of life on the border. While exploring the town's vibrant life, what captivated me most was the Anyu Aesthetic Hot Spring B&B, which cured all my travel fatigue.
Unlike the cookie-cutter decor of many B&Bs, this one combines aesthetic sophistication with high-end amenities. Each room is meticulously crafted: Simmons Black Label mattresses and high-thread-count white goose down bedding ensure an exceptional sleep experience; Daikin air conditioners and underfloor heating throughout are perfectly suited to Tengchong's climate, making it comfortable year-round. The Xiaodu smart control system and Marshall Bluetooth speaker create an amazing ambiance, perfect for some peaceful solitude.
The full suite of high-end appliances adds to the luxurious feel: a Smeg kettle, Dometic refrigerator, Dyson hairdryer, Hansgrohe shower, and TOTO smart toilet – every detail speaks of quality. The private courtyard with its natural sodium bicarbonate hot spring offers ultimate privacy. You can explore the cultural heritage of the ancient town by day, then retreat to your private hot spring at night, letting the evening breeze melt away all your fatigue.
The meticulous service was the biggest bonus! There's 24-hour one-on-one butler service, including complimentary airport transfers and precise planning for your Tengchong itinerary. They thoughtfully share tips on unique photo spots and how to avoid tourist traps. Upon check-in, you receive a welcome fruit basket. At night, there's exclusive floral tea and milk for your hot spring soak, and a delicate, authentic nutritious breakfast awaits in the morning. The aroma of Italian coffee wafts through the public areas, making a leisurely sit and daydream the most delightful way to spend your vacation in Tengchong. 🌙

Guest UserThe hotel is very clean, judging from the shower rooms. It's close to the century-old vegetable street, but getting back to the hotel involves climbing a hill, which can be tiring; I wouldn't recommend it for older people. The breakfast is decent, but they'll give you extra if you're not full, so you'll definitely be satisfied. The hotel staff are very helpful, carrying our luggage back and forth with excellent service. Accommodation within the ancient town is generally expensive; for the same price, hotels on the outskirts will offer a higher standard. It depends on your needs; we chose it for its convenience while exploring the ancient town.

Guest UserWe stayed for four consecutive nights. Reasons to recommend Huajian Meisu:
1. The brand-new bath towels were clean and fluffy. Bathrobes were provided, which we used when going to the hot springs. The shower water pressure was sufficient.
2. There was underfloor heating on the first floor and central air conditioning heating on the second floor. Tengchong has a large temperature difference, so the heating made for a good night's sleep and a comfortable stay.
3. The breakfast was reasonably good, and you could adjust it to your liking. Coffee was available.
4. There was a washing machine and dryer, and the dryer's usage time was clearly marked.
5. The hotel is relatively new and has public areas (the lobby on the first floor and the terrace on the third floor). The third-floor terrace had a nice view.
6. Thank you to the owner for providing airport pick-up service and helping me arrange a twin room for the first night (because I couldn't book twin rooms for four consecutive nights, I booked one night in a double room and three nights in twin rooms).
(Disadvantage: The price is a bit high)

Centrally located in Tengchong, this hotel offers convenient access to all attractions. Parking is free, with both above-ground and underground spaces available.
The rooms are clean and well-equipped, though I do wish they had a mini-fridge, even a small tabletop one. It would be very helpful for guests with medical needs, such as diabetics who require medication to be refrigerated.
If you plan to use the hotel's hot spring, remember to bring your own swimsuit. If you forget, you can purchase one through their 'flash delivery' service, which gets it to you in 20 minutes.
The breakfast selection and taste are noticeably superior to many 4-star hotels like Holiday Inn, almost reaching a 5-star standard. Be sure to try the rose handmade rolls from the steamed dim sum section.

Choosing this hotel for my trip was absolutely the right decision; I was thoroughly satisfied with everything. The service was exceptionally heartwarming, the front desk staff were gentle and kind, and I particularly want to highlight the excellent service from Mia, our housekeeper. She patiently answered all my questions, and even offered to help with my luggage when she saw I had a lot. The hotel's location is superb, and the overall environment is tranquil and elegant, making it perfect for both travel and relaxation. It offers great value for money. I will definitely rebook here if I visit the area again, and I highly recommend it to friends who are traveling.

This was the only hotel in Tengchong during the off-season that didn't offer a room upgrade, likely because it's genuinely great value for money and doesn't lack business, often being fully booked.
The room rate of over 500 RMB included breakfast for two. The hotel is very spacious, the scenery is beautiful, and the facilities are quite comprehensive, including a washing machine and dryer. Given how often one gets wet in Tengchong, especially during the humid rainy season, having a dryer is incredibly important.
You can tell the staff are genuinely busy, everyone is working hard, and they actively greet you and offer help. The laundry service staff work late into the night to assist with drying clothes.
There are two heated swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor, and they are excellent. The hot spring pool even has a slide, making it perfect for families with kids.
The hotel doesn't have an elevator, but staff help with luggage. The shuttle service is quick, operating 24 hours a day, and there's also parking available.
Breakfast was decent and filling.
The only downsides are that the room feels a bit dated and the balcony table is a bit small, but otherwise, there are no other complaints.

My stay was very pleasant. The room was clean and serviced twice a day. The environment was quiet and beautiful, and both the room and the hot spring bath offered good privacy.
Especially noteworthy was the staff; they were professional and friendly, providing excellent service without being overbearing. I also recommend trying some of the free activities offered at the hotel's 101 event.
It would be even better if the bathtub in the room were deeper.

zhenghh2000The biggest surprise of my trip to Tengchong was choosing the right hotel: the Wyndham Grand Hot Spring Resort Tengchong. The hotel's overall design is an elegant style typical of western Yunnan architecture. Opening the window reveals distant mountain views, with a refreshing expanse of greenery. The public hot spring pools are all well-maintained and clean, and each pool area has thoughtful amenities like drinking stations and rest areas. After a day of exploring the Tengchong Volcano Hot Sea Scenic Area, a soak in the springs melts away all the aches and pains. The service staff, especially Grace, was incredibly responsive; anything we needed was delivered within minutes of a phone call. She also proactively checked in with us, showing great enthusiasm and friendliness. The sincerity was evident in every detail. This is definitely a high-value choice for a vacation in Tengchong. Guest UserVery good! This Spring Festival is a pleasant surprise!
I didn't expect Changning to be so beautiful. Staying in the best hotel in Changning is very cost-effective! There is a lake view in front. I got up in the morning to run, and soaked in the black hot springs on Ke Street to wash away my fatigue. It was comfortable!

XiaozhuzidelingdiThe environment is beautiful, there is a big lake in front of the hotel, and walking in the morning makes you feel more like a vacation than visiting crowded attractions. It was almost 10:00 when we checked in at night, and the front desk enthusiastically recommended which restaurant was delicious and which one had fast delivery. On the day of departure, I had an early flight, and they also enthusiastically prepared breakfast for me. Knowing that one of my companions was lactose intolerant, they thoughtfully prepared a separate portion of soy milk. A big thumbs up
