"This four-star hotel lived up to its name, offering a disappointing overall experience and being the worst hotel I stayed at during my trip to Yunnan. The hotel had a severe shortage of parking spaces. Even more baffling was the lack of staff to guide or manage the process; guests had to find their own parking spots in the chaos, resulting in a terrible experience. During check-in, there was only one staff member at the front desk, who was completely overwhelmed with multiple guests. All service processes throughout the hotel were slow, rigid, and stuck in the practices of over a decade ago. The hotel elevators and floors didn't require card access, meaning any unauthorized personnel could freely enter the guest room area, posing a significant security risk and completely failing to meet modern hotel security standards. Room cleanliness was substandard; there were still obvious stains on the toilet seat. The breakfast selection was limited and the taste was mediocre, falling far short of the culinary standards expected of a four-star hotel. Most notably, the overall operation was rigid and outdated. From check-in to check-out, there was no sense of intelligent service or personalized management, a serious disconnect from current hotel industry development. We urge booking platforms to strengthen their evaluation and supervision of hotels like this."

The buffet breakfast offered a wide selection of delicious and carefully prepared dishes. This truly is a must-stay hotel in Baoshan. The room we stayed in was also very quiet, allowing for a comfortable and peaceful rest. I couldn't find any faults. They even helped me ship back items I left behind. The quality of Guanfang is indeed excellent."

"The hotel feels quite dated overall. While the parking lot is in the back, you have to walk up stairs to get your luggage, or walk around from the street to the front door and then up three very high steps. It's not very convenient for seniors. I booked a room with a small sofa, but I was given two chairs. I didn't bother to negotiate. Honestly, I couldn't get used to the breakfast; it was very salty and spicy. I suggest it be improved. The entire block lost power around 1:00 AM. There was no air conditioning or elevator, so I had to go to the bathroom and carry my luggage downstairs in the dark. It's not the hotel's fault; the power company was incredibly slow to fix it!"

Although the food is not rich, it tastes good. The waiters are very polite. This season is when bananas are ripe. Because they are naturally ripe, I wanted to take one or two away. We arrived around 9 AM, and the housekeeper personally drove to pick us up and thoughtfully helped with our luggage. The pre-prepared mangoes were amazing—the best I've ever tasted! The park's scenery is breathtaking, and they even gave us a complimentary afternoon tea voucher. There's a museum with guided tours and a temple within the park. We even encountered a few Dai people praying there in the early morning; the atmosphere was serene and peaceful. A rare bluefin bream inhabits a pool of water; strolling among them is incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended!"
