MangmangdemangmangThis guesthouse is located just a hundred meters inside Pingyao's North Gate. While it's a little removed from the county government and other core ancient city attractions, it escapes the hustle and bustle of the streets, offering a quiet and peaceful retreat.
The architectural design is very thoughtful. The soft Tiffany blue palette blends seamlessly with the traditional brick courtyard. The three jujube trees in the courtyard add a unique touch of the ancient city's rustic charm, creating a perfect blend of old and new with a wonderful atmosphere.
The service from the staff was exceptionally warm. Transfers were well-arranged, and the staff were very welcoming. The young owner was innocent and playful, even offering my younger brother some biscuits. The family suite we stayed in was incredibly comfortable and well-equipped. The butler provided meticulous care, ensuring both the elderly and children had a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, our trip was rushed, and we only stayed for one night, leaving with a feeling of wanting more.

Anonymous UserAn absolutely wonderful experience! As soon as we got off the train, a handsome young driver was already waiting for us at the exit, ready to help with our luggage. The drive wasn't long, and he gave us a brief overview of the ancient city. Upon arrival at the hotel, our lovely and warm butler had already cleaned our room and arranged for early check-in. Knowing we hadn't had breakfast yet, she immediately arranged a meal for us. The room itself was clean and tidy, with an antique charm that added a special sense of tranquility. The bedding was incredibly comfortable. For breakfast, each of us received a 'nine-grid' meal: eggs, beef, vegetables, Pingyao specialty noodles, pastries, yogurt, milk, and coffee. They even asked if we wanted more, truly heartwarming. When we left, they gave us a souvenir, and the same handsome young driver took us back. A special thank you to the beautiful and hospitable butler and the warm, attentive staff. HUAZHU Collection Pingyuan Mansion (Pingyao Ancient City Branch) is highly recommended!

Guest UserThis hotel is right in the heart of the old town, and it's absolutely new and fantastic. The mattresses and toiletries are all top-brand, and even the Dyson hairdryer is the latest model. My best friend and I had such a great time here; she was super happy! It truly feels like a super five-star experience. The courtyard is also beautiful – perfect for taking pictures! The manager who greeted us was incredibly warm and attentive. I'll definitely book here again next time I visit the old town. This is a genuine review, not a paid one! 😐

Guest UserThe room was clean, tidy, and modern, fully equipped with everything you could need. It offered excellent value for money and a great location. There's a dedicated shuttle service for both check-in and check-out that takes you directly to the hotel. After a 5-minute walk down a small alley, you're right on the bustling South Street, making it a perfectly quiet retreat amidst the action. The hotel is very high-class, the bedding is incredibly comfortable, and they even offered a clothing experience. The front desk staff and all the other employees were incredibly friendly. Plus, there was free afternoon tea, fruit, and a complimentary souvenir. Overall, it's the most satisfying hotel we've stayed at recently 😊😊.

Guest UserThe hotel is beautiful, specially the patios. The location is just 10 minutas walking from the North Gate of the wall. In reception they do not speak English, but they were very helpful with the translator. However, if you really need to rest, this hotel is not made for you. At 7am there were already families and kids shouting and playing in the patio. Even with taps, it was too noisy to keep sleeping. The hotel is also offering folkloric dressing and photos shoots, so you might find people take pictures in front of your room anytime, also at night with flashes

지우율빠The location is excellent. It's right in the center of Goseong, making it a great base for exploring the city. Starting from the center, you can easily explore all directions and then back to the center, making it a great location.
It's my first time at Pingyao District Office, so it's a bit tricky to judge the hotel facilities.
However, the room is modern and well-appointed. The bed was clean and the mattress was adequately comfortable.
The bathroom has good hot water. While the cleanliness is a bit lacking, the kindness of the owner and staff makes up for it. Boss!!! I had a great stay and had a great time.

Ambiance: Absolutely stunning for a historical visit. This is a centuries-old inn, with seven courtyards deep. Being here felt like stepping back into the glorious era when Jin merchants thrived.
Service: Excellent. There are two incredibly cute kittens in the courtyard that my son absolutely adored. The owner even provided toys for playing with them. When we weren't out exploring, my son spent his time in the courtyard playing with the cats and had a wonderful time.
