"Last minute booking as our flight was cancelled due to bad weather. The poor hotel clerk was overworked but still very friendly with the onslaught of passengers that debarked on her due to various flights cancellation. The place was clean and I was able to have a good night sleep. I was grateful that they had an available room."

The special benefit of the ibis Hotel Munich Airport South is the immediate proximity to Munich International Airport (MUC). Our hotel is conveniently located at the A9 and A92 freeways. You can take the bus to the Hallbergmoos subway station, from which you can quickly and easily reach the terminal and the city of Munich.
"Hotel can be reached with public transport from Munich main station in about 50 min. The rooms are clean and tidy. However, during my stay, both 3-in-1 shampoos in the bathroom were empty. I was provided with a replacement relatively quickly after I let the reception know. My bathroom also smelled a little funny. Finally, the hotel website states that shuttles to the airport are available. This is true, but they are an extra 12 euros. It is very possible they state this, but I missed it. If you are staying near the airport for an early flight the next day, consider investing that extra money in a room closer to the airport."
