stayed at Discovery SCBD Jakarta for 3 nights from Sunday to Wednesday during a business trip and had a very pleasant experience throughout my stay. The hotel's location is one of its biggest advantages. Situated directly opposite Pacific Place Mall in the heart of the SCBD area, it offers easy access to restaurants, cafés, shopping and office buildings, making it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travellers. The room was modern, spacious and exceptionally clean. My favourite feature was definitely the in-room coffee machine. As someone who starts the day with coffee and often works late during business trips, being able to enjoy a freshly brewed cup in the comfort of my room was a thoughtful touch that I truly appreciated. The large work desk by the window was also perfect for catching up on work after office hours, while the comfortable bed and reliable Wi-Fi made the stay even more enjoyable. I also enjoyed the breakfast concept. Instead of a traditional buffet, guests order their preferred dishes from a menu. I appreciated this approach as it helps reduce unnecessary food waste while ensuring that the meals are freshly prepared. What impressed me most was the speed of service — despite being individually prepared, the food was served promptly without a long wait, making breakfast both convenient and enjoyable before heading out for the day. The lobby and common areas are stylish, modern and well maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment of arrival. The staff were friendly, professional and efficient throughout my stay, and both check-in and check-out processes were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, Discovery SCBD Jakarta exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, convenience and thoughtful amenities. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Jakarta and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality accommodation in the SCBD area.

Literally on Cloud 9(0) Had a wonderful stay at Pan Pacific Jakarta in a Pacific Club Room, with access to the 90th floor Pacific Club Lounge—the tallest hotel club lounge in Indonesia—with spectacular views across Jakarta. The afternoon tea, evening cocktails with champagne and extensive breakfast were all excellent. The “Happy Sleepers” programme was a lovely touch too, with a drawn bath, pillow mist, and chamomile tea with biscuits waiting in our room. Our room was sooo comfortable and well appointed, but it was the warm, sincere and excellent service that made our stay truly memorable. Special thanks to Jessen, Van, Indah and the Pacific Club team, who went out of their way to look after us. We highly recommend Pan Pacific Jakarta, and a Pacific Club Room is a must. Quite literally, a stay on Cloud 9(0)!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Shangri-La Jakarta, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I stayed in a spacious balcony suite on the 29th floor, which offered stunning views of Jakarta. The suite was beautifully appointed, combining elegant design with modern luxury and every amenity one could wish for. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy what Jakarta has on offer. The Horizon Club was a real highlight. The cocktails were outstanding, and the atmosphere made evening drinks a memorable experience. A special thank you to Mr Markus Christ and his wonderful team for their warm hospitality. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine friendliness made me feel truly welcome throughout my stay. The hotel has everything you could ask for, including excellent dining options and a fantastic bar featuring live music, creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind in the evenings. Shangri-La Jakarta delivers five-star luxury with impeccable service. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jakarta, whether for business or leisure, and I look forward to returning.

Had a great stay at Sutasoma Hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions. Overall, a pleasant experience and a great choice for anyone visiting Jakarta. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was fantastic, and both the staff and front desk were very welcoming. The price was also very reasonable. The hotel's location is great, close to the city center and only 5 kilometers from Grand Indonesia mall. There are also many smaller malls and restaurants nearby.

The hotel is very clean, and its services satisfy everyone. Its location is close to everything in downtown Jakarta.

Merlynn Park Hotel Jakarta — A Surprisingly Great Family Stay Sometimes, a hotel is not just about how luxurious it looks, but how comfortable your family feels from the moment you walk through the door. Merlynn Park Hotel Jakarta delivered exactly that. The location is one of its biggest advantages. Situated in Central Jakarta, it is very close to Monas and within easy reach of major shopping areas and attractions. For a family travelling around Jakarta, the location makes getting around considerably more convenient. The hotel itself is big, spacious and strategically located. The lobby is particularly impressive — very large, comfortable, and filled with plenty of seating areas where families can relax while waiting for check-in. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink and traditional Indonesian snacks, which was a nice touch. Check-in was smooth and fast. I also appreciated the security system in the lifts, where access to the guest floors is controlled. It gives you an extra sense of security, especially when travelling with children. Our Family Suite We chose the Family Suite with two queen-sized beds, and this was probably one of the best decisions for our stay. The room was spacious and modern, with more than enough room for our large luggage — and still plenty of space to move around comfortably. For us as a Muslim family, I also appreciated having enough space to pray comfortably, with the Qibla direction provided. And of course, the bathtub was a big hit with the kids! The room also came with a coffee and tea-making facility, including Earl Grey, together with the usual toiletries and amenities. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped, with a separate bathtub and shower. Breakfast — One of the Highlights Breakfast deserves a special mention. The variety was genuinely impressive, with a wide selection covering international, Chinese and Indonesian cuisine. There was something for everyone, and the Indonesian selections in particular gave us a chance to enjoy local flavours without having to leave the hotel. It is the kind of breakfast where you walk in thinking, “I’ll just have a little,” and somehow end up going back for another plate. Pool & Gym The swimming pool and fitness centre were another pleasant surprise. The pool area is spacious and relaxing, with greenery and city views. There are also shaded areas where you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere without spending the entire afternoon under the Jakarta sun. For me, one of the nicest details was being able to relax by the pool while enjoying the view towards Monas. What Made the Difference But beyond the room, breakfast and facilities, what really stood out to us was the hospitality. My family felt welcomed from the moment we entered the hotel. The security staff were consistently courteous, greeting us respectfully whenever we entered or left the property. Those small gestures may seem insignificant, but when you are travelling with your family, they make a difference. Overall, Merlynn Park Hotel gave us exactly what we wanted from a family stay in Jakarta — space, comfort, convenience and genuine Indonesian hospitality. It may be a large hotel, but our experience felt warm and personal. A very good stay. A very happy family. And definitely a hotel I would consider staying at again when we return to Jakarta.

The hotel's location is excellent, right on the main road. The Chinese food was delicious and varied daily, offering congee, noodles, and other dishes popular with Chinese guests. The service was also great; staff were very helpful with luggage. I'll definitely book this hotel again for my next business trip.

The room was clean and the breakfast buffet was delicious, so it was a really good stay! It might be best not to eat meals too late, as it takes a really long time to prepare the food.

Swiss Bell Hotel chain is very expensive compare to other 4 star hotels. Not worth for money. There are more 4 star hotels much better than this at lower price in this area. I have experienced that. First room they gave me is disgusting. Not clean and broken room. After I complained they gave me another room with same aminities. Booked as a double guest room. But amenities were for a single person. Location is very good. Near pondok indah mall. Staff also very good and friendly. But greedy management trying to earn big money, giving lower class hotel to customers. So the problem is Management. Not the staff. Also remember, there is no good seating lobby. Restaurant also high price food and drinks. . You can get much better hotel at lower price than this is my final conclusion
