"The rooms are simple but spacious. Breakfasts are modest; you can only boil eggs. The public, free beach is nearby, a 3-minute walk away. It was very hot at the end of May, +30°C, and the air conditioning wasn't working. They couldn't fix it in 2 days. The hotel is mainly occupied by retirees.
To get to the center of Stresa, it's a 20-minute walk along a beautiful promenade."

Il est regrettable, alors que l hôtel était presque vide , d’avoir eu une chambre pour personne à mobilité réduite.
La salle de bain n’était pas du tout fonctionnelle , pas agréable , trop petite. Nous en avons fait part à un membre de la réception qui nous a répondu : oui vous avez raison .

The hotel is quite tired, has seen better times. Utug is given for a separate fee, refer to some order. Although nowhere else in Italy, this trip has not been the same.
The positive factors were three: the location, the Russian-speaking administrator, which helped us very much with his advice. Thanks to her separately!
And breakfast is very, very delicious!

JINMay be the reason for the off-season, the direct deputy building upgraded to the main building mountain view room, there is a small balcony can be cold weather, or drink coffee is very good, breakfast typical European food is nothing special, overall good!

We had an ok stay but this was the worst accomodation we had during a 1 month trip around Europe. The location is great as it’s very close to the train station and the lake. However, it was not a very comfortable stay for 3 main reasons:
1. The wifi didn’t work in our room
2. There was no hot water for a shower at night
3. Despite receiving email confirmation before arriving that we would have a double bed, our room had 2 old single beds that had been pushed together. These couldn’t be slept on as a double because: they were on unlockable casters, so easily moved on the tiled floor, the mattresses deeply sagged in the middle so there was a ridge on the edge of each of the mattresses, and, they were made up with single linen. In addition, we didn’t use the balcony we were looking forward to as it looked straight onto a construction site. So all in all, we were disappointed.

The residence was very good, after check-in at the nearby hotel, I was taken to the nearby residence. The room was clean, albeit a bit worn out. Location was excellent, and breakfast was tasty. Staff was kind and accommodating. I'd stay here again should I travel to Stresa. Thank you.

I wanted to save some money by not staying directly lakefront, and this hotel was quiet, clean, no frills and perfect. In a quiet neighborhood where a 2 minute walk in a residential area brings you to self service laundry, a grocery store, shops and restaurants and a 5 minute walk from the more busy piazzas with restaurants and shops. The hotel room was large with loads of space for storage and plenty of hooks and a large desk area, along with a balcony with 2 plastic chairs and a table.. Bathroom supplied round soap and shampoo. Front desk was efficient and stored my luggage after checkout while I explored the town further. Short walk to train station. Included breakfast was cheese, meats, hard boilded eggs, croissant, yogurt and fruit and a Coffee machine.
